Re: Goku didn't win so much in Super
A better question we should be asking ourselves is:
Why don’t point-blank kamehameha’s KILL their opponents. (Kefla and Jiren) And than you have Toppo who got blasted almost the same way several times throughout the series. It seems characters in Super are nearly indestructible in comparison to characters in Z. Where Freeza, Cell and Majin Buu got blasted to absolute nothingness. Here in Super, characters just take them full on, and not only live to tell about it, but are (somehow) immediately able to stand up to battle again in most cases. The only (main baddie) in Super who got killed by one of our main heroes was Freeza. The other one being Zamasu, but hey, it’s the all erasing Omni-King who did it. So no surprise there.
Yeah i get it, as usual, it’s an out of universe explanation (plot conveniency!) but from an in-universe standpoint, it still doesn’t make sense ofcourse.

Yeah Frieza survived against Hakai in the tournament of power and that was when he was still dead.GodVegetto91 wrote:A better question we should be asking ourselves is:

That argument is flawed since our heroes are also much stronger and on their level. It’s the same thing.PsionicWarrior wrote:Well tbh they're also much stronger lolGodVegetto91 wrote:AIt seems characters in Super are nearly indestructible in comparison to characters in Z.

Ok that's a fair remark, but not the thread's point lol
Re: Goku didn't win so much in Super
Gokou rarely wins against the big bad. Starting with Zed, Gokou gets killed by Piccolo, loses to Vegeta, gets beaten by Ginew, doesn’t kill Freeza, loses to Android No. 19, couldn’t beat Cell, "loses" to Majin Vegeta, couldn’t beat Super Boo, and needed help to defeat Majin-Boo. In Super, can't beat Beerus, needed Whis’s power to reverse his mishap, loses early in the tournament to Frost, eliminates himself in tournament against Hit, couldn’t beat Gokou-Black or Potara Zamasu, and didn’t win the Tournament of Power.

You do know one of the rules of the Tournament Of Power was "No Killing"?GodVegetto91 wrote:A better question we should be asking ourselves is:

And you do know that if a zenkai boosted full power Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku fires a fully powered (100%) kamehameha at POINT BLANK RANGE to Jiren, that it’s not in his control wether Jiren dies or lives right?Lord Beerus wrote:You do know one of the rules of the Tournament Of Power was "No Killing"?GodVegetto91 wrote:A better question we should be asking ourselves is:

The tone present in this and other posts is unnecessary; furthermore, this is going beyond the intended point of the thread, and is best served in some of the more dedicated "strength comparison" threads already in progress elsewhere.GodVegetto91 wrote:And you do know that if a zenkai boosted full power Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku fires a fully powered (100%) kamehameha at POINT BLANK RANGE to Jiren, that it’s not in his control wether Jiren dies or lives right?

This is a interesting observation that I absolutely agree with, although as VegettoEX pointed out it's off-topic. Maybe you should create a thread about this very topic, so that we can all discuss about how damage is portrayed in Super.GodVegetto91 wrote:A better question we should be asking ourselves is:

Okay sir. I’ll keep that in mind.VegettoEX wrote:The tone present in this and other posts is unnecessary; furthermore, this is going beyond the intended point of the thread, and is best served in some of the more dedicated "strength comparison" threads already in progress elsewhere.GodVegetto91 wrote:And you do know that if a zenkai boosted full power Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku fires a fully powered (100%) kamehameha at POINT BLANK RANGE to Jiren, that it’s not in his control wether Jiren dies or lives right?
