Probably NYCC if that is true. They’re having Nozawa and Nagamine there which is insane so that seems like the place to do it

There's going to be a new trailer at Jump Anime Festa (25th of November - 2nd of December) in Japan. Though that seems far too late to reveal the second trailer. Usually they drop the second trailer two months before the film comes out. If that's the case, then it makes sense to reveal the trailer at New York Comic Con since that's on the 4th of October through to the 7th.

It's all kinda confusing right now, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm sure we'll see something at New York Comic Con.

Where did you find the announcement of the Australian release data? I haven't seen anything yet about the release date for when it comes out here. Madman haven't even officially said whether or not the film is releasing here (even though I'm 99% sure that it's going to).

Thanks for the links, guys!

Whoa! Event Cinemas are already listing the movie on their website? That's strange. Usually theatre websites don't list movies until around 3 months before the movie comes out. I guess Event Cinemas do things differently.

24th of January does seem very likely since other countries are getting the film on that date as well. New Zealand will definitely get the movie on the same day as Australia. Movie release dates for Australia and New Zealand are usually the same.

That makes sense to do that. I think if it happens, the trailer would be longer than the last one.

Official Madman Australian trailer.
Official FUNimation Films page for the movie.

So we now know that the film is releasing on January 16 in North America. It didn't say that it was a limited release, so it's possible that this could be a wide release. I'm starting to think that the Australian release listed on Event Cinemas is incorrect, because usually the release date is really close to North America. Resurrection 'F' released August 4 in NA, we got it on August 8. My Hero Academia: Two Heroes releases on September 25 in NA, we're getting it on September 27. Typically there's a two day gap

So with that in mind, I'm gonna take a guess and say that Australia and New Zealand are getting the film on January 18. I would love Madman forever if they did an Australian premiere in December. That needs to happen.

Yeah, there are definitely other places with different dates; I just don't know that it would be useful in any way to document them all because they're probably all piggybacking off of a single source. There's this one where we got the extended story summary: Colombia (10 January 2019).

I can't edit my post but the link for Bolivia is wrong; it links to Argentina. Pretty easy to fix, though; just change the "ar" in the URL to "bo". The date is 10 January for both.
