Re: Freeza vs Kamiccolo(Freeza Arc)
The Nameless Namek should be more around 20,000... maybe 50,000 absolute max. All we know is that Guru was surprised that any saiyan could kill him. The strongest Saiyan at the time was Vegeta, around 18,000 (he was also the strongest during the days where the saiyans still existed, where he was a little over 10,000).

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Yep. I agree. Nameless Namek on his own potential would probably be around Nail or so. Only the Kaio Trained Nameless Namek would be able to topple Freeza's first form.
Re: Freeza vs Kamiccolo(Freeza Arc)
Well maybe that's the point. I mean we know there are other Super Nameks out there who didn't need haxed fusions, and all Guru would know about Kamicollo would be his original power and potential. How could he gauge what the fusion would do to his current power, unless he was talking about his original potential, which was higher than Frieza?
Re: Freeza vs Kamiccolo(Freeza Arc)
I don't think Guru has any clue how strong Nameless Namek could be. He knows that he should be a true master and his own bodyguard is able to handle generally all Saiyans quite easily, so it makes sense.
If Nail can be that strong, maybe NN could to. That's more how I look at it rather and Guru reading any potential or scanning for power levels or anything like that.

Like who? Nail is the strongest Namekian that we know about. If you are talking about Slug, yeah, that's just a movie and not in the manga, there's nothing to prove that there ever were Namekians stronger than Nail in the manga, except Piccolo after all his training.Draken wrote:Well maybe that's the point. And, also, don't underestimate Guru's hindsight and wisdom (and by extension, Nail's). He seems to know his stuff and he probably could guess fairly accurately that by becoming whole again, Piccolo and Kami would become much stronger than the sum of their parts, which were already stronger than the original parts of when they separated (in Piccolo's case, much stronger).

I always went with the theory that Kami and Piccolo's fusion would have less of an effect the stronger one became.
He they fused in the Frieza saga I see th.em getting to like 80,000,000 for example while in the Android saga it's just a double for Piccolo

Re: Freeza vs Kamiccolo(Freeza Arc)
Sure that makes sense. Look how strong Nail made Piccolo. I'm sure the closer in power the more drastic a result.
