By all the hatred collect by Raichi with such powerful warriors, it's fair to assume Hatchiyack is almost Vegetto level right?rereboy wrote:This Hatchiyack doesn't have to be only as powerful as the one from the movie.Drellz26 wrote:Gast still shouldn't have much trouble with Hatchiyack, should he?

Absolutely, I'm more excited for this fight now that I've realized how much stronger he will be. At this point, are we sure Gast wins?Noah wrote:By all the hatred collect by Raichi with such powerful warriors, it's fair to assume Hatchiyack is almost Vegetto level right?rereboy wrote:This Hatchiyack doesn't have to be only as powerful as the one from the movie.Drellz26 wrote:Gast still shouldn't have much trouble with Hatchiyack, should he?

This thread is moving awfully slower than it used to.
Anyways, Hachiyack's art there looks stunning.

No, he's not the sum of the dead warriors' powers. He just has their hatred. That hatred might power him up but that hatred is not the same as their powers.Noah wrote:By all the hatred collect by Raichi with such powerful warriors, it's fair to assume Hatchiyack is almost Vegetto level right?rereboy wrote:This Hatchiyack doesn't have to be only as powerful as the one from the movie.Drellz26 wrote:Gast still shouldn't have much trouble with Hatchiyack, should he?
The machine's ability to reproduce the dead warriors' powers is destroyed.

That said, this guys' got a LOT of hate. I mean, we've got an unreformed Vegeta in there, and then we've got fricken BROLY too! The guy who was stabbed as a baby, would slaughter countless people as a child, was mind-controlled by his own father for years, and had to listen to Goky cry for hours. That's...a lot of haterereboy wrote:No, he's not the sum of the dead warriors' powers. He just has their hatred. That hatred might power him up but that hatred is not the same as their powers.

We don't have a formula for how it translates into power, thoughFionordequester wrote:That said, this guys' got a LOT of hate. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Hatchi could realistically be a top-tier threat now, if he's got the combined hatred of fighters like SSj3 Vegeta in him.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It's all of the combined hatred, not power. So he wouldn't be as powerful as SSJ3 Vegeta + Broly or something like that. Actually, wouldn't this make Hatchiyak inferior to Raichi's machine? Considering that the machine is in fact capable of summoning multiple greater fighters for longer periods of time.testing223 wrote:Hatchi could realistically be a top-tier threat now, if he's got the combined hatred of fighters like SSj3 Vegeta in him.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Hatred and emotion have always been part of DB's power mythology, so I'd be perfectly ok with Hatci being far stronger than ever now.Gog wrote:It's all of the combined hatred, not power. Also, Raichi's been working on Hatchi for like 20 years, plenty of time to get a powerup from the OVA Cell era.

I look at Hatchiyak and this talk of hate, and I think about the Green Lantern Corp. Power fueled not by chi, or magic, but emotion? and make the emotion hatred? Gast may barely escape this with his life.Gog wrote:It's all of the combined hatred, not power. So he wouldn't be as powerful as SSJ3 Vegeta + Broly or something like that. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It's definitely fine to have Hatchiyak stronger than his OVA Version. He still needs to be a threat in this battle for it to actually be a fight.testing223 wrote: Hatred and emotion have always been part of DB's power mythology, so I'd be perfectly ok with Hatci being far stronger than ever now.

But, we really don't know if he has, and even then Hatchiyak will always be the inferior fighter to guys like SSJ3 Vegeta, and LSSJ Broly.
If that's the case. Then there's no way that Gast will win.FoolsGil wrote: I look at Hatchiyak and this talk of hate, and I think about the Green Lantern Corp. Power fueled not by chi, or magic, but emotion? and make the emotion hatred? Gast may barely escape this with his life.

Probably because Super became more popular and filled the need for new DB content.mfwlegend3 wrote:This thread is moving awfully slower than it used to.

I hope that scream was instead of countdown, that was one of his biggest flaws, doing countdown before attack, and he was wide open during it.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He doesn't countdown before attacking, that was Goku counting how long it took for him to power up the attack. Granted his powerup did have that sound that effectively takes the place of a countdown anyways.coola wrote: I hope that scream was instead of countdown, that was one of his biggest flaws, doing countdown before attack, and he was wide open during it.
