Since he can get eleventy billion times stronger with four months of training, we can assume that in the regular Universe he accidentally trained by getting out of his chair slightly more often.Rubens wrote:The only way of making sense of this is to believe Freeza is, for some reason, weaker in this universe... which doesn't really make much sense.

Dragonball Z does this all the time with weaker fighters. Remember ssj Goku performing beyter inside Buu than ssj gotenks did in the rosat.

Pretty sure that scene was anime filler, just like the part when they beat the Gotenks and Gohan clones.miguelnuva1 wrote:Dragonball Z does this all the time with weaker fighters. Remember ssj Goku performing beyter inside Buu than ssj gotenks did in the rosat.

Goku is faring pretty well, he must have used those few days to train at its fullest.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I guess, although this fight would have made more sense against Freeza's 2nd form but eh. How many pages left for this special anyway?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Goku probably had a few days to train before meeting Freeza. That could explain why how he can catch up to Freeza's third form.

Well, at least there's some good choreography
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Funny thing is, if they didn't show fight with Ginyu Force, i would believe Goku have Chance against 3rd form Freeza, but he clearly had more trouble with Recoom and others, and had to go Kaioken against Ginyu, sorry if it sound like I'm beating death horse, but that's actually one of reasons i don't like Super too, zero consistency in power level difference.

Could you elaborate what this exactly means?Noah wrote:Salagir just lost his mind in a way not even rereboy could defend it

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Freeza's reaction to the Kamehameha is the best thing ever.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I thought it was obvious but sure: rereboy usually defends Multiverse a lot in this thread (he explained his reasons in this post), The power levels are messed in this special and I'm not seeing him defending this, that's what I meant.Neo-Makaiōshin wrote:Could you elaborate what this exactly means?

. Again with this erroneous notion that I defend DBM... Like I said multiple times before, I don't defend DBM, I just point out the exaggerated criticism and bashing that, unfortunately, pops up very often.Noah wrote:I thought it was obvious but sure: rereboy usually defends Multiverse a lot in this thread (he explained his reasons in this post), The power levels are messed in this special and I'm not seeing him defending this, that's what I meant.Neo-Makaiōshin wrote:Could you elaborate what this exactly means?
Regarding the inconsistency in power in this special, I agree that that it's inconsistent like I've already pointed out, and, even though we can force an explanation, the writers really should have done a better job at that front since it would be easy to do so (they could just have Goku not struggle against the Ginyus and the rest would be explained with the added time to train and his will to avenge his friends).
Furthermore, I don't think anyone has gone overboard with their criticism regarding this aspect of the special so I didn't even think to say more than I've already have. Fair is fair. Although, saying "Salagir lost his mind" is exaggerated/bashing.

That's still technically defending the comic though, even if that wasn't your intent. It's just that you're now defending it by proxy instead of defending it directly.rereboy wrote:Again with this erroneous notion that I defend DBM... I view rereboy as more of an apologist than anything. This isn't an insult, by the way. I respect it.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I'm going to say the smoke clears and final form Freeza is there.
And then Goku punches him in the nose with Kaio-Ken x11 just to upset everybody even more

How awesome would be if Goku actually manhandles Final Form Freeza in his base and the only reason Freeza wons is because he blew the planet?dario03 wrote:And then Goku punches him in the nose with Kaio-Ken x11 just to upset everybody even more
