Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Majin Cell! Can't wait for him vs Vegeta now, this interruption better not end the tournament!
Cell is no doubt SS3 tier now, hopefully he's not under full control but just wanted the power up.
Also, longest chapter(non special) in a couple years right?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Why the fuck can Babidi control Cell if he couldn't control Vegeta?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Cell wasnt obsessed with Kakarotto Plus, Vegeta knew about Babidi ability, so he could mentally prepare, Cell didnt know about Babidi and his powers.Doctor. wrote:Why the fuck can Babidi control Cell if he couldn't control Vegeta?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Is there anyway this Babidi could just be more powerful in magic too?

Oh great, Cell with an expandable tail. The only thing I really hated about GT.

Majin Cell looks cool, although it's still possible for him to break out of Babbidi's bounds. Let's see what the next pages hold for us: seeing Cell temporarily teaming up with the heroes sounds interesting to me.
Yeah, the tail thing is also bugging me a lot too. One would think that he doesn't need it because he's perfect.Cetra wrote:Oh great, Cell with an expandable tail. The only thing I really hated about GT.

It's SO awful. On so many levels.Cetra wrote:Oh great, Cell with an expandable tail. The only thing I really hated about GT.

How can he control Freeza as well, he's far more prideful than Vegeta will ever be? For an answer? I The only real explanation is that Babiddi in this time line possibly upgraded his Majin power based on how Vegeta was capable of escaping his control.Doctor. wrote:Why the fuck can Babidi control Cell if he couldn't control Vegeta?

Vegeta was a combination of ssj2 power and saiyan stubborn pride.
Its like when the digimon emperor learned he couldn't control ultimate level digimon.

Unfortunately, Freeza in Multiverse is an absolute bitch, so I didn't find it unbelievable. If it were Super!Freeza we were talking about though, now that would be bullshit.Gog wrote:How can he control Freeza as well, he's far more prideful than Vegeta will ever be? For an answer? Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
...maybe Babidi can control Freeza and Cell more easily than Vegeta because they're both unrepentantly evil while Vegeta at the time Babidi tried to control him had spent seven years settled down on Earth with his wife and kid, leaving behind his previous murder-everybody-on-an-entire-planet way of life? I mean, his way of controlling people does involve manipulating the evil thoughts within them after all.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Too be fair, Multiverse Freeza while being an absolute butt monkey is still Freeza at the end of the day.Doctor. wrote:Unfortunately, Freeza in Multiverse is an absolute bitch, so I didn't find it unbelievable. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I really liked the art in this page, but man... How that will turn out? I can't say it's not interesting an army of powerful mind controlled guys by Babidi, but that's mean the tournament is gone for good, right? I don't see how they will continue after.coola wrote:

Aiming a little high are we Babidi?
They were probably too distracted at the situation to notice. Also, Cell can hide his power like he did in his Imperfect form.Marco Polo wrote:How did Cell sneak up on Gohan and Piccolo without them noticing it??

Ah... completly forgot about #17; since this is the "future" 17 that erradicated mankind, it makes sense. Also, I did like that one of the heloits turned out to be evil, nice twist!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He probably wasn't downright evil, he just had enough evil tendencies for Babidi to control him.Rubens wrote:Ah... completly forgot about #17; since this is the "future" 17 that erradicated mankind, it makes sense. Also, I did like that one of the heloits turned out to be evil, nice twist!
