Is it Toei's fault DBS is so bad?

This show is awful. My dad and me were huge fans of DBZ but this DBS shit is just awful and I can't possibly watch this rubbish with him it would completely ruin DBZ for us.

It's just so bad, the jokes are corny as fuck, the animation is lousy and has no edge, the characters seem to have lost their deeper personality aspects and are just badly written, the story progresses awkwardly and is filled with filler that doesn't do anything to move the plot forward but instead wastes are time with boring and unfunny antics.

Apparently they got Akira Toriyama on this, but that doesn't seem to help this series feel any more if not less appropriate than GT. I blame Toei, they took his decent outline for a story and gave it awful animation, loaded it with corny humor and boring filler, and tried to make it cutesy and lame compared to DBZ. DBZ was great has visceral action, hardcore and badass moments, and the humor was actually funny for even adults. Now it's just lame and seems way too geared for young children and ONLY young children, or something like that, because for someone who loves and still loves DBZ this shit is just mind numbingly terrible.

There is an entire Dragon Ball Super sub-forum with other, appropriate threads you may wish to contribute to. Thanks.
