Selling a PLETHORA of random Dragon Ball items...

Postby Bagginses » Tue May 07, 2013 2:15 pm

WARNING: This post will be image-heavy.

Hey guys, I am trying to get rid of some things from my collection, but currently I am not able to toss any of this on eBay, so I thought I could try to sell them here (most appropriate place, huh?). Anyway, what I intent on selling are a couple ''rare'' items, that are either hard to find or out of print. All items are USED, as in, not-sealed (but in acceptable/good/very good condition). If you don't like the price, name your offer.

Here is what I have...

1. Dragon Ball ''Season One'' (W/ ORIGINAL BOOKLET!!!)

Description: since this was bought early in, it did contain the original booklet within it.

Price: 30.00 USD (because of the rare booklet) + shipping

2. Dragon Ball Z Ongakusyu V.1

Image

Image

Price: 20.00 USD + shipping

3. Dragon Ball ''Volume 2''
(FOR FANS OF INTERNATIONAL DUBS ESPECIALLY!!!)

Description: Out of print DVD that contains episodes 4-6 of the first anime series, in uncut Japanese and Brazilian portuguese dub version.

Price: 25.00 USD + shipping

4. Dragon Ball Movie #3: ''MYSTICAL ADVENTURE''

Price: 10.00 USD + shipping

Shipping is to be paid by the buyer in case of every one of the items. I ship WORLDWIDE. Finally, I work only thru Paypal as the payment method.

If you are interested in anything, then shot me a PM to see if we can work something out. ^_^

NOTE: Keep in mind that for whatever amount you are charged for the shipping (which will depend on your location), I will have to ask for a little more so that I am fully reimbursed, because Paypal always takes some of the money that is sent.

Thank you for your time, and sorry for posting up another sales thread.

Hey, don't want this to sound like begging, but I am willing to offer items really cheap if that means I actually manage to sell something. So right now I will offer what I suppose is a great deal: $50 dollars for an Dragon Box 4 in like-new state, plus shipping. Or a Dragon Box 3 and 4, both for 80 bucks, plus shipping. For you to own, to re-sell, to collect or just to have one more to add to your collection.

As always, contact me thru PM if you are interested.

By the way, all the items listed in my first post are still available.

It is, like all others in this series of releases, out of print now, I believe. Newer sets don't come with it. Therefore it is quite obvious that a set that DOES have it is rarer and hence worth more (in my opinion).

I just tried to highlight this detail in the product's description.

Perhaps I should just have said ''complete set with original booklet'' or something.

And you can download the booklets for free on FUNimation's Dragon Ball websites... :|

Just because something's rare doesn't make it valuable. That's a frequent misconception that people have. No one's going to pay extra because it has a booklet. The Bricks are generally undesirable to fans who are collectors because of the inaccurate dub and the inaccurate screen format anyway.

You can buy brand new blue bricks for $20.
I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

Unless you're buying Dragon Box singles with no subs, any version of the series you buy will have the 'inaccurate dub'. They've got the Japanese version too, so I'm not sure why the optional dub should decrease its value. Having to view the English episode titles is kind of lame, but now in days all FUNi's DVDs are like that. And the blue bricks are the only way to get Saga of Goku uncut in Region 1, so plenty of collectors will pursue them. Same with Curse of the Blood Rubies. Only way to get that movie uncut (with dub and subs) is to get the DVNR'd re-release that accompanied the blue bricks.

But yeah, you can get em easily for twenty bucks a pop.

I for one have been waiting patiently to see if FUNimation announces Dragon Box: Dragon Ball and the other Dragon Boxes because I'm avoiding the blue bricks especially to how they're called "Seasons".

Bagginses @ You could sell those things on Amazon and pay a one-time fee only (if sold). It's where I sell items than eBay's multiple fees, that's just out of question for me to deal with. Still, a lot of people sell products on eBay so that's a plus (I sometimes buy from eBay).

About 20. For the first series, anyway. The other ones didn't even get a release to begin with, but DB's been cancelled. :(

Thanks for the tip, but I don't have a bank account on the US, UK or Europe that I could receive the money on. Does Amazon accept accounts in Portugal? (I am asking because you're from Portugal and you said you sold there once, but I don't remember seeing Portugal on the list of countries that are ''accepted'').

Ah nah, that was a while ago (2012) now I've moved back to UK since things weren't going well there, during that time I applied for a bank account to buy things online and transfer money around.

So if you're able to sign up for a bank account to sell items on eBay or Amazon, I'd suggest doing because it's worth it, imo.

Can you use your Portugal bank account from the UK or that is not possible?

Sure you can, but in Portugal I had to sign up for an additional bank card which allowed me to use it online, the main one is for debit only. It's called We Buy (costs yearly €7.50 to maintain access to it) from Caixa Geral de Depósitos (their customer service is really good, haven't got a reason to diss them yet), it's just another way for them to make more money though this is something that should be main card.

If I need to transfer money from UK to Portugal, or anywhere I can do it easily through Paypal and it only takes like 3 days. I'd take this method over going to a money transfer shop.
