North Carolina's Animazement 2013 Mega Discussion Thread

I'll be damned. Nozawa's coming to the States. At the same time, I'm kind of fearful her experience is going to suck.

I envy anyone that gets to go! Then again, I envy anyone that gets to go to any con...I've never been to one. :?

That is particularly awesome though. Hopefully someone from the board can go and can manage to get Nozawa to say something about Kanzenshuu like the previous Toshio Furukawa vid.

I've always looked at going to Animazement, anyway, 'cuz they regularly get Nakao.

So. Um.

What are you referring to? Is this on youtube or something?

Also, I just realized that I am even walking distance from the convention center. It would be about a half-hour walk, but I've walked to that area before. :D

Man! Of all the conventions, why Animazement, I wonder? Does she go to lots of conventions in the U.S. or is Raleigh special?

Ahhh! So cool! Maybe I will take one of my Dragon Boxes to get signed, too!

And I kind of want to meet you too, VegettoEX. Would that be weird? Haha.

Well shit, looks like I'm pretty much obligated to go to Animazement now. Luckily, it's only about 4 hours away from me.

I'll be sure to bring my Dragon Boxes too!

I'm a central NC native so I've been going years already, but I absolutely lost it at the announcement today. Never in a million years expected it! And now I can't wait until Memorial Day weekend!

As for her experience though, Animazement is actually a good starter con. It's not overly large and the accommodations are very nice. Furukawa told us many times over that he had an absolutely wonderful time last year in Raleigh, so it wouldn't surprise me if he had a hand in her deciding to come, haha. :>

Let's hope they give us some spectacular Dragon Ball panels!

It's really interesting to see who lives near Raleigh.

Also, I've had this idea that maybe FUNimation might announce some future releases (Dragon Boxes?) at a convention. Since this one will have such a big Dragon Ball presence, I wonder if that might happen here. Just something to think about.
