So,
InfernalVegito posted this in another thread, and I thought it was pretty cool.
So, are there any other moments like this in the manga or anime that reference an earlier event?

Haven't seen that one myself but I've seen these two posted here before:
These seem to be little Easter Eggs in the anime only I think, i quite like them, attention to detail and all that!

Nice! I've seen the one of them punching each other, but I've never noticed the old man before.

That's really formidable that the animators pay attention to such details sometimes.

Going off topic, but that reminds me of...

Am I the only one that sees Majin Vegeta's right arm longer than it should be? Any longer and he'll start being Slender Vegeta!

That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

Whoa, you're right! If you remove Goku's arm it's easier to see just how stretched out his arm is!

Clearly, what happened was, Babidi's mind control also granted Vegeta the powers of the Gum Gum Fruit.

I remember looking at that a while ago and thinking the same. I guess it does the job though.

Actually, the fourth panel says "Who is this man who gets younger in each Dragon Ball (anime, I suppose)?"

It's pretty obvious and lots of you have seen this one, but in
Dragon Ball Z and
Dragon Ball Kai, when Goku goes full power against Cell, the scene mimics the
Cha-La Head-Cha-La opening with Goku focusing energy in his fist and then - as the camera moves away to the distance - he raises his arms and unleash some dome-like energy half-circle burst.
The comparison may not seem striking when written like that, but when seeing both animated scenes (or pictures of them), the hommage is so obvious that you guys can't have missed it if you've seen that moment of the Goku-Cell battle!

I remember that exact moment you're talking about Cold Skin. Believe it or not, I somehow never noticed that for years of watching the show - it was only when I went back and watched it subtitled that it dawned on me. Maybe because I was all the more focused due to having to read subs?

I noticed it the first time I saw that. It sort of looks like foreshadowing if you didn't know any better.
