To emphasize the effort he has put into this new film, Toriyama said that even his first manga editor praised him on the work he has done, even though this editor rarely ever does that.

Praise from Torishima of all people has me super excited about this considering his reputation of being tough on Toriyama.

Hmm, I'd originally anticipated an announced 2014/released 2015 movie but thought it might have been a little too early, interesting to see that they're going straight ahead with one. Interesting to hear that it's something he had planned a long time ago, and even more interesting is that Torishima likes it!

Anticipating the last movie was pretty exciting. Not much to really say at the moment until we get more info. As for what we have now, I can say I'm pretty happy with how it was described in the article. A scrapped manga premise is definitely intriguing, as well as Toriyama's need to fuss "over the smallest dialogue lines". More action yet "utterly funny" comforts me that this will be in the same vein as BoG, not that I had much doubt to begin with.

Let the hype begin.

I'd definitely enjoy some more EOZ period material. Plenty of space between it and GT to work with.

Yes, this is exciting! Even if one had guessed that there was another movie coming up, there's a lot of crazy stuff in that article that I look forward to hearing more about / clarifying. It is my impression that Toriyama didn't "originally intend" much in the manga, and that it wasn't really planned ahead so much as written by the seat of his pants.
