Mr. Satan Appreciation Thread

Since no appreciation thread has been done today, I made this for one of my favorite characters in the entire Dragon Ball franchise, and one I feel is either loved or hated by the fanbase, there's no in-between. So, what do you think of one of Dragon Ball's most comical figures?

I really feel like he was one of the reasons that makes me love the Boo arc. I liked him from the moment he was introduced because he was supposed to bring comic relief back in the end of the Cell arc, something long lost since the end of the Saiyajin arc. He may not be the series' most developed character, but he's a charismatic one. I would pay so much to see a spin-off based on him.

Hands-down one of the best characters in the series, especially in the Buu Arc. I love how everyone is freaking out about how they are gonna kill Buu, about training to fight Buu, and what does this guy do? He ends up becoming best friends with the guy and getting him to swear off killing! I've given my views about fighting being the answer to everything in other threads, and I can't help but appreciate this twist.

He's loud, obnoxious, a braggart, and absolutely nothing physically compared to the rest of the cast, and yet he was the only one who had taken the effort to win over the people that he was trying to protect, and it was he who was the only one who could convince these people to offer up their help.

Best-written character in the whole manga. He gets 7 out of 7 stars.

Someone of the forum recently mentioned how he was Dragon Ball's best written character and I can't seem to disagree. He starts off as a seemingly one-off comic relief character whose arguably more annoying than funny who evolves into such a lovable idiot (kind of like Gokuu!). I love how his reactions to things bring perspective to how ridiculous the series had become.

The way he always tries to save his face and declares everything a trick is hilarous. Always cracks me up.

I really hated this character when he was introduced during the Cell games.. I knew him as Hercule back then. Over the years I found out that wasn't his real name and started liking him a lot more haha. I mean man seriously Hercule? It bothers me that people still call him that. But anyways.. He really grows on you during the Buu arc and movies he's in. He actually becomes more of a main character than some of the fighters! Now that's something.

He's the only realistic person in the series I'd say. He sees a bunch of crazy shit going on, and questions why the hell that's happening, like any normal person would. Other Earthlings see things and are surprised, but their reactions don't hold up to Mark's.

I freaking love his reactions to how powerful the other people are. He's always a laugh in all his scenes. How can you not like him? he's one of my favorite characters really.

One of the pillars of Buu Arc. Count me as hater-turned-dangerously hardcore Fan of Misuta Satan!! LOL

He's like yardstick between Omnipotent Z-fighters & weak human race. Just like a toothpick may come in handy at most unexpected moment, Misuta Satan is one key player in 2nd half of Z-era. (Cell & Buu Arc)

Late Daisuki Gori sir truly made Satan a memorable character. Sometimes cunning, often funny & ridiculously fun. Enjoyed his presence in Bojack Unbound & Bio-Broly. Wished he was used regularly.

By the way, I like his swag

He killed Cell and Majin buu so what's there not to like ? One of if not the best character is the story

He's the Pilaf of Z, but unlike Pilaf, he was actually successful in achieving his goals. Satan is a funny character who gets in over his head and I love his over-confidence and arrogant remarks.
