Re: VHS Box set Photo help!
After 3 days of hard work, here it is: http://s1182.photobucket.com/user/TheBa ... sort=3&o=2

As you can see, I went through a lot of effort polishing up the cosmetic damage that the box had taken over the years by it's previous owner. On top of all of that, I ended up syncing all of the sides by redrawing missing parts of the clouds in the background due to the folds of the box itself.
The box was scanned in 600dpi. To download it in it's full resolution, click the link above, then you must mouse over the image and you should see a magnifying glass icon appear towards the upper right corner of the image. Press that, click "view image" and wait for it to finish loading in your web browser. From there, right-click the image and select "Save As," and you should be good to go. The file is about 177MB which is pretty large.

That's awesome work, but I think considering its size that you should offer a high quality JPG so it won't take up so much space.

I almost hate to ask because you obviously went through a lot of effort for just that one, but if you really don't mind or have some spare time could you upload the VHS box sets for the Saiyan & Namek sagas if you have them? ;x

I do have "The Saiyan Conflict" box-set, and I was planning on getting "The Namek Saga" box-set sooner rather than later. I'll get to those.TheSeductiveTomato wrote:I almost hate to ask because you obviously went through a lot of effort for just that one, but if you really don't mind or have some spare time could you upload the VHS box sets for the Saiyan & Namek sagas if you have them? ;x
I recently picked up the "Perfect Cell" and "Cell Games" saga box-sets on DVD, the latter currently priced at $100+ on Amazon. I was fortunate enough to get the both of them for a killer price.
I'm planning on scanning and restoring every box, VHS/DVD cover, disc, and insert for the original U.S. Dragon Ball Z release.

Ahh that's excellent. I've been searching for HD scans of the box sets for ages now with no luck. I'd appreciate this very much.TheBalishChannel wrote:I do have "The Saiyan Conflict" box-set, and I was planning on getting "The Namek Saga" box-set sooner rather than later. Re: VHS Box set Photo help!
Right now I'm attempting to stitch the spine-art of the VHS's together in Photoshop to make one giant picture without the lines slicing through it. Below is the result of the first two tapes in the set being put together:

Even though this is a little easier for me to do, I probably won't have this out as quickly as I did with the Frieza box because I'm a little burnt out at the moment. But at the very least, it keeps me having something to do when I'm not doing anything else.

If you can get hold of an Australian member who has the Madman Season 2 Collection 2 box, they might be so kind as to scan the box. That covers the Freeza saga.
