Why would you assume it's dub fans?precita wrote:Is there any proof of Yamcha being received badly prior to say 1996 or so? I know we're talking about the pre-internet days here, but I don't think this started till Dragonball came to the west and all the dub fans came around.
Should TFS be blamed for the treatment of Yamcha?

Its the go to for a lot of people for some reason. See it a lot with Broly as well, which is odd since his two returns happened before the Funi dub even started.Dbzfan94 wrote:Why would you assume it's dub fans?precita wrote:Is there any proof of Yamcha being received badly prior to say 1996 or so? Yeah, it's kind of annoying to automatically blame dub fans for everything whenever something negative happens. Dragon Ball was FINISHED in Japan before the Ocean Dub over here even STARTED.dario03 wrote:Its the go to for a lot of people for some reason. He's mocking the DB fandom because a lot of them are stuck in the mid 2000s mindest, of "the dub suxs xD" or "sub fans are dickheads". Or something like that.Cure Dragon 255 wrote:What does that have to do with anything?
I have borderline personality disorder, if my posts ever come off as aggressive or word vomit-y to you, please let me know.

There are better ways to make your point without unnecessarily rattling cages in the process.Li'l Lemmy wrote:Dub fans are ignorant blowhards!
