Is funimation planning on re-doing the movies "same way the new blu-rays were" or are these based on the already existing Blu-ray transfers?

This set is the same as the US sets. Australia never got them on Blu-Ray before, so this is the first time.

That looks even more bland... why is it hard to find good DB art nowadays? Yeesh.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:I guess what I'm about to show is kinda original.LordCrumb wrote:Damn, was hoping they would do something original.
This isn't on Madman's website so I'm guessing this is a JB Hi-Fi exclusive?

Both Blu-ray movie collections in one slip case of all 7 Dragon Balls. Looks neat! I will definitely be picking this one up rather than getting the collections separately.

I kinda like the simple-looking slip case. I'll take that over the artwork on the Blu-ray cases.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:That looks even more bland... why is it hard to find good DB art nowadays? Yeesh.

I have the Madman DVD Movie Collection, were those technically the same masters as whats on these new blu rays? Or did that DVD set at least have the two TV Specials in 4:3 still? I can't remember and not home to check.
If they were all 16:9 before, I'll sell my DVD set and upgrade.
