Some might be wondering why I'd ask about One Piece on a Dragon Ball community, that's because the 590th episode is a special crossover episode between One Piece, Toriko and Dragon Ball Z.
It would be great if FUNimation would release One Piece on Blu-ray so we'd have this in the highest definition quality, subtitled and dubbed in English.
I'd love to own this legally. I don't really follow One Piece (too many episodes) but I recall there were Blu-rays released in Japanese for the early portion of the series? Think so.
Are One Piece Episodes 500-600 available on Blu-ray?

I don't actually know. Does Funimation still have licensing rights to Toriko? If not, I do not see the special coming any time soon.

I assume that would also apply to the Super Collaboration Special from back in 2013, as that had characters from both shows but of course Goku and a few others as well to represent Dragon Ball.ShadowBardock89 wrote:I don't actually know. DB collection related goals as of now:
1.) Find decent priced copy of Dragon Box Z Vol. 4 (Done)
2.) Collect rest of manga
3.) Get rest of Daizenshuu (2-7)

The crossover special was officially episode Toriko #99 and then One Piece #590.
AFAIK it's never been released on home video, even in Japan. Funimation also didn't have the rights to the three One Piece X Toriko crossovers for their simulcast or DVD release (the first two were subsequently added to Crunchyroll, but not the third one with Dragon Ball characters). Funimation also never got to where crossover 2/3 should be in Toriko, so the odds of there being an English home video release don't look good.
