Lol I find it really funny how Yamcha tells 17 along the lines of, "I'll get her. You can't handle the gravity." (which is wierd because even the likes of Freeza handles the Gravity without a problem) and then strolls right in and picks up 18 while being under 1000 Gs and then I remember in the filler part in the anime during the training for the Android Saga how Yamcha got crushed by 300 Gs. Moving on up in the world, Yamcha Buddy!

Guys, the reason XXI used the remote isn't because he could or couldn't defeat 18 without it. Whether he could or couldn't is irrelevant to its inclusion. The reason he used the remote is to inform us that he has the remote. It's supposed to show that he not only is keenly aware of each participants' weaknesses but also has access to them. That's what's most important here--his curious familiarity with the other universes.

Tony here has got it.

XXI's danger isn't in that he's just really really strong and overpowered like every other villain, he actually uses knowledge and tactics to beat stronger opponents without even having to touch them.

Sal & co. are finally writing an opponent that can't just be beaten by a REALLY REALLY strong attack, he has to be clearly outsmarted.

Predictions: Zen Buu > Gotenks, who is too cocky to do the job.
Bra > Cold, but Cold puts up a good fight by using psychology.
Raichi > Gast. Close one but XXI needs to stomp Gast to show that XXI's threat overpowers other magic, so Gast wins.
Goku > Uub, but it'll be a good training fight.
Vegeta > Cell, but super close. Probably going to be the best fight.
XXI > Zen Buu. XXI will have the hardest fight but will find a loophole. Buu will reveal he didn't actually plan to win the balls anyways since he has his own.
Bra < Gast. Gast needs to face XXI. Bra will finally go All Out against someone. Probably the other best fight.
Gast < XXI. XXI needs to show his growing threat to take out the Supernamek.
Goku = Vegeta. Could go either way, with whatever "super" forms they've kept hiding.
Final battle will be either Goku or Vegeta vs XXI, but it definitely will NOT go that way and likely will become chaos with Vegetto, Zen Buu, and probably Gogeta all causing their own chaos.

If I had to guess, that dragon or whoever XXI is talking to provided him with the remote. Before each fight, XXI consults the entity to find out what weaknesses his opponent has, and in turn he gets a means to defeat them. I doubt that XXI is powerful in his own right, he's just crafty and has resources.

That said, since she's deactivated and not dead, Raichi can't use her as a ghost.

I'm going to call a bold prediction now. What what ever Vegeta's new form is will stabilize and increase ssj3s power in fusion.

New ssj3 Gogeta will beat Ssj3 Vegito, Zen buu and XXI to end the tourment arc.

He might not be powerful but then again maybe he is. http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en ... tml#h_read seems to imply that it was the guy with round eyes that blasted buu. And it seems to imply that guy is XXI.

I saw Beerus on the DBM front page too. I guess Salagir is finally starting to use more recent material for DBM. Salgair does not consider BOG and ROF to be canon to DBM.

I hope buu finally is the one to destroy XXI (or will he absorb him and become even more dangerous). If not, then there will definitely be a point where he, vegetto, gast and U18 will stop him.

My predictions:
Gotenks vs buu - gotenks loses bad
Cold vs bra - Cold initially puts up a fight due to buu's powerup, but ends in a really bad shape as predicted by bardock.
Rachi vs gast - Gast. Rachi has already showed a lot of power in last round. It is time to show gast's power.

Goku vs uub - Goku
Vegeta vs cell - Vegeta in an epic fight
XXI vs buu - could go either way
Bra vs Gast - finally bra will meet her match

Goku vs vegeta - Goku
XXI / buu vs gast - could go either way

Goku vs XXI / buu / gast - No result. A bigger danger arises.
