This kinda reminds me of the battle between Goku and Beerus in Battle Of Gods where Beerus toyed with SSJ3 Goku on King Kai's Planet.

I thought exactly the same. This whole page feels like a throwback to that fight with Gotenks mimicking Goku by charging at Buu, then appearing above him instead and throwing a punch Buu easily catches. Of course here's where the comparisons stops as Gotenks throws a mouth blast at Buu. In BoG Beerus threw Goku away. IIRC it's exactly the same way the fight begins in BoG.
Love it or hate it, SSJ3 never quite looked this damn good in the official manga imo.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.
How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):
Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.

I thought SSJ3 appeared quite awesome in the manga too.

Spoiler:
It looks pretty good in its introduction shot but afterward, it doesn't have much in the way of noticeable ones in the confines of purely the manga.

Mainly because it's not used much, and in the few times it is used, it never really leads to a hero's victory over a foe.

How does his paneling need work, out of curiosity?

Only because Goku and Gotenks ignore the ki drain issue and drag that fight like they usually do. Goku flat out called himself on it when talking to Vegeta.

I'm not well-versed with the proper terminology to explain it properly, but the panels seem too... samey? They don't vary a whole lot, it's common to find a page with panels that are the exact same size.

If they were doing chapter by chapter releases he would have more freedom to vary. Since it's page by page, they want to have decent progress in almost every page, which implies something like 5 panels or 6, and there's only so many ways to have 5 or 6 panels in a rectangular page.
For example, in this current chapter, all pages had different panel composition, but they all had 6 panels. So, he does vary but he can only do so much with 6 panel per page.

Well, it was established that 3s stamina issues get worse the stronger you are. It only makes sense he'd de-fuse so fast
