So the APR V-Jump shows SSJ Blue Goku and Vegeta, and Beerus states how he's mad Goku didn't use full power... so obviously it's not going anywhere. That said, they still use SSJ (Gold) but will not use 2 or 3 due to power drain or our presumptions that the normal SSJ retained the Red SSJ God powers.... I wonder truly the boost of Blue now... and why the living F won't Vegeta use it to beat Magetta, rather than using Final Flash. It's as awkward as Piccolo using a move, Makankasapo, that's designed to penetrate and kill foes in this non killing tournament...

I wonder if we'll get clarification on any of this. In addition, wasn't there leaked episode titles proven false 2 weeks ago, but another set leaked a week ago and they're checking out thus far? If so, anyone can provide again in a spoiler tag?

Can you direct me to that post please? I still enjoy keeping up with both the anime and manga, and thanks for your time.

There's a pastebin with the Japanese manga transcribed, if that's what you're interested in. Not much different really except Piccolo's strategy goes from trying to win in the anime to resigning himself to the fact that he can't win and simply fights defensively to try to wear Frost down as much as possible. Though it's stated that while he's wearing Frost down, Piccolo is getting even more tired. So Piccolo and Frost definitely wasn't quite an even fight, Frost was just getting frustrated with the fact that Piccolo was persistently trying to drag things out so he ended it quickly with poison.

It seems the episode titles from two weeks ago were just a 2ch user guessing so they weren't really "fake".

After the last chapter I'm considering the manga to be way more official than super. They the last chapter handled frost...infinitely better, damn.

I just read an accurate translation of chapter 10 and my god... The way they treat Piccolo is soul crushing.

Indeed. I wanted Piccolo to get at least one win in there... hell maybe even a draw. He's been reduced quite badly (though not as badly as Gohan, I mean jeez...)

This. I mean, man, the hand-to-hand combat is soooo much better in the manga than that of the anime. Hell, even the kikoha fights are exciting, and those suck in the anime.
The creativity with the fights in the manga is there. If only the anime followed the manga's footsteps, then we might be getting somewhere. Toriyama knows what he's doing. Toyotarō knows what he's doing. Toei... eh..... I want to like the anime a lot, but it's getting increasingly difficult.

This has probably been said like, 47 times already, so I'll say it for the 48th time: They do it better in the manga than the anime.

This line killed me.
Piccolo: Keh... I can't even get respect from perfect strangers from other universes now...

So chapter 10.... I dont even know where to begin.
All I can say is I love this manga! Toyotarou is the man

I probably said this more than I should have but I really feel that the manga is the main one and not the anime not just because of the better fights and good art but because of how they act.
For once Goku isnt such a dumbass like his anime counterpart, glad that the manga didnt had that Goku saying there's no way Frost is a bad guy when Jaco found out he was cheating.
Its also Goku like when he did the exact move Frost did indicating (at least for me) that he really does like to get back at people.

As for Piccolo and Piccolo fans.... yup this probably had been your worst DB chapter ever, Piccolo outright said he doesnt stand a chance unlike his anime part that wanted to prove them all wrong.
Hey at least he didnt sound like an idiot that was getting in over his head of wanting to beat a guy that beat Goku (atm they had no idea Frost was cheating so I found it odd that Piccolo thought he had a chance when SSJ Goku lost) so yeah he knew he's fcked if Goku got fcked, makes a lot more sense than the anime.

That's way over the top, he just says everyone's underestimating him, according to 2ch.

It's only a minor thing, but I love how Goku drops SSJ form when he loses consciousness in the manga. It seems more consistent with past material and it sort of bugged me in the anime when he kept it.

He still dropped to base in the anime too just after the fact

After the fact is what makes it look weird. It looks off seeing Goku unconscious, out of bounds and still SSJ.

We don't even know if goku was unconscious before he went back to base. He could've been conscious on the ground

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

A live event from V Jump aired half an hour ago on Nico Nico and, according to Masa, it seems Toyotarou shows Toriyama his manga storyboards and this scene was the only one that got corrected, and by the man himself.

Interesting. So it does seem like Toriyama's overlooking the manga closely.

I guess he got so fed up with how the anime treats his creation that he's putting more effort on the manga lol. Props to Akira

Except he's only corrected one scene in the manga. And he's still most likely spending most of time coming up with more character designs and thinking more of the general plot for the anime.

Cool, does it say what got corrected?

We don't know anything, but it does seem odd that he could maintain SSJ and still be ring out'd. The scene just takes too long in the anime and looks awkward.
