Daizex Jump Ultimate Stars Tournament Planning

Hey all,

When this game first came out, Mike mentioned how he'd like to do forum tournaments. I've been waiting for one to pop up, but it's been a few months since the game's release and still no news of it. So I say we use this thread to schedule tournaments.

Let's post the following information so we can betters plan:

Time Zone: US Pacific
Availability: Friday nights, Saturdays
Name you go by online: Alex

As long as there isn't any gang up/wait until time runs out n00bs playing, I'm all in.

Availability Pretty much any night unless something comes up. Fridays/weekends would probably be best.

Oh dear, I'm not sure how this tournament could work. But I'd like to play some more people from Daizex. I mean, I feel that I'm pretty good. I'm not talking crap just yet

Tournament Structure

I would say, have all the entrants' names randomly selected and put into a bracket. (like the one's in the Tenkaichi Budokai) Have those people play one on one via Friend Code and have the winner post on the tournament thread, thus moving him/her up in the bracket.

Sound good?

I heard a good idea about a referee in the match who confirms the matches winner. We'd all have to agree on a reasonable set of rules (death match item less and hazard less, with 60 seconds) and we'd play on a reasonable stage (the earth level maybe).. I kind of want to fight right now.. Check the PMs everyone..

EDIT: I've got SAT prep, which'll keep me occuppied until March 10. So until then, I won't be available for fights except for Fridays from 2PM to 9-ish, since that's the only day in the week where I can lay off doing any work.
