In terms of manga influence alone, it could be argued that Tetsuo Hara, the mangaka of Fist of the North Star is most influential, as his style was how Hirohiko Araki started JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, which in turn, arguably paved the way for the non-tournament arc shounen. And in terms of overall legacy, Tezuka takes the cake.

It's hard to deny Toriyama's legacy, but it's not the one-and-all.
All that is true but, none of them had the same impact that Toriyama did outside of their homeland.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Leiji Matsumoto is also the sci-fi god of anime and manga. He does deserved to be listed on the video too.

A comparison between Akira Toriyama, Hirohiko Araki, Go Nagai, Tetsuo Hara and Osamu Tezuka by Google trends. This does not necesarily speaks about their influence but we can´t deny being popular can help in being "influent" tosome degrees.

Yet, we probably wouldn't have manga as we know it without Tezuka. Toriyama is a huge, influential figure that has inspired countless others, especially in the shonen space, but Toriyama himself was influenced by Tezuka.

List is ok, but I'm surprised there was no CLAMP (Card Captor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth...) and Riyoko Ikeda (Lady Oscar, My Dear Brother....) at least in honorable mentions

Thanks to Discotek:
Magic Knight Rayearth get DVD release in 2015 and Blu-Ray release on 2016
Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas get DVD release in 2015

Go Nagai would be more popular in the west if his stuff was more license to a bigger wider audience. Mazinger Z got a English dub in the 80's in the US during the time of Voltron and Robotech, but it bombed.

Seriously not even a mention of Katsuhiro Otomo (Creator of Akira) and only basically Shonen writers :problem:
