The way CR tends to work is that the stream of all old episodes are available for free, while the newest episode is behind a paywall for 1 week. It's not COMPLETELY clear if they are referring to this chunk of Future Trunks episodes + past episodes being free, or if even the newest episode will be free as well. I know One Piece is an exception where even the newest episodes are free, hopefully DB will as well. I pay for CR already, so I'm happy, but I know folks who don't subscribe to CR and the paywall may be enough to make them continue following pirate streams

Everything they've said seems to suggest that even free users will be able to watch the newest episode as soon as they're up, but even if we have to wait a week, I'd happily do so. Better a week behind (which I often am anyway, if not more so) and able to support it's legal stream, than the alternative IMO.

Typically, yes, but not always. As I said, Crunchyroll's simulcast of One Piece is available for free users, and here's what they say on their official forum:

Free and premium users will be able to watch simultaneously.

So, it's looking like free users will still get to see the new episode the night it airs!

Once they post it, it's up, you can watch it any time. This is a streaming service more similar to Netflix, not like a CNN live-feed or something.

Yeah i heard! We can all celebrate! No need to use VPN's! The first time i can watch it without feeling guilty.. xD
Going by my recent experience with Daisuki.. (If One Punch Man is anything to go by) the video quality was pretty good aswell! 1080p! Plus subtitles! It's free and totally legal! And the adds aren't really all that bad either! And i can lay on the couch with my iphone like a lazy bastard streaming it! xD and most importantly.. Just 1 hour after the episode airs live! No need to get of my lazy couch and go upstairs! Lol
