Sagas compatible with PS3?

Post by Darrien » Wed Apr 18, 2007 12:12 am

Just got around to picking up Sagas for the PS2 (for some reason, I really enjoy it...). Anyways, it was pre-owned from Blockbuster and the disk looks mostly fine (little light marks, but I have other games with them that play just fine). However, playing it in the PS3, it always hangs after I defeat Burter and Jeice tries to escape. I haven't tried it in my PS2 yet (that Vegeta fight is very annoying...), but I wondering if anyone else has this problem?

I can't imagine that it would be a hardware issue with the PS3 (though there are definitely others). Sounds like a problem with the disc to me, even though the scratches are described as being light. You should test out the same part of the game on your PS2 to see.

The Playstation site has a page for checking for PS3 backwards compatibility problems. I typed in "Dragonball" and Sagas was the only game that has any problem listed. but it said this: "On the DragonBall Z: Sagas Titles screen, the screen jitters up and down from the normal centered position."

Here's the site if you want to try for yourself.

Alright then...looks like I'll be headed back out to Blockbuster very soon then... Thanks a lot.

Whoa, take a breath every once in a while, there. Periods are your friends.

One step at a time, senor. It's a delicate process.
