Yeah but canon Vegetto still sees himself as just Vegeta and Goku's fusion, he even says that both against Boo and Zamasu.

Multiverse Vegetto sees himself as his own being.

Multiverse Vegetto sees himself as his own being.
Which seems reasonable since he's been around for a long time by now whereas the other Vegetto's we see don't last long enough to really form their own identity that goes beyond "I'm a combination of Goku and Vegeta".
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Yeah, but that's why I said that canon Vegetto referring to himself as Vegetto makes sense and is normal behavior. Multiverse Vegetto referring to himself as Vegetto makes him look like an egomaniac (which isn't out-of-character, mind you, I was just noting it).

Also, we're all just waiting for Ginyu to start posing right?

Apparently Ginyu knows how to turn Super Saiyan. Must be easier than using Kaioken.

Ginyu over the course of the series went from 2nd to 6th form as King Kold. You could argue it's a different body, but still if he's improved his ki control to do what he did previously, basic SSJ shouldn't be a problem.

Transforming into a Super Saiyan also has an emotional aspect that makes it different from other transformations. Maybe this aspect was made negligible after Goten and Trunks transformed. Still it makes more sense if Ginyu needs a bit more time to get to know a new body (especially that of another species), because he did need it when changing to Goku's body. Aside from not knowing how to use the Kaioken, his base power was lowered too, enough for Gohan and Krillin to beat him. If Ginyu somehow became more adept at changing bodies I'd like to know how. Maybe Zen Buu gave him knowledge about Saiyans, too.

That shot of Ginyu-Bra as a Super Saiyan looks really fucking cool. The hair looks amazing. It feels weird thinking anything else, since that's technically Ginyu lol.

"No one in any universe can." Can what?

Seriously, they need to replace the English translator. Preferably with someone who can actually speak English in a manner more advanced than putting the French text into Google Translate.

Yes, you can understand what's being said. That's not the point.

Lollers. Brayu is DBM's Quagmire: I can dig it.

As for the update, hmm, Vegetto, I see your tenth of power level, and I raise you one SSJ2.

Hee Hee you know what would be hilarious - Ginyu goes SSJ2 and is able to control it and gives Vegetto the fight of his life. Vegetto is so overcome with emotion of now fighting closest to his 100% he decides he will allow GInyu to stay in Bra!

God damn I laughed stupid at Piccolo being so shocked that he's never been hit on before. That was real excellent usage of the source material.

So when Vegetto says that no one in any universe is a tenth stronger than him he is ignoring Broly, right? And we still don't know how the Ultimate Namek or SSJ3 Gogeta would fair against him

Boasting for the purpose of intimidation =/= precise mathematically accurate power comparisons is what I'd say. No need to put any stock in what Vegetto says here.

He's just being arrogant and using hyperbole. He's also angry and trying to intimidate the enemy.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
