Newtype's cover's been released, so it's only a matter of days before episode titles (and maybe summaries?) pop up. I'm really anxious to see if we'll actually get summaries or not this time.
I wish you are right, that would give us this hit arc as an anime only thing and Toyotaro can go ahead just fine, everyone wins!
If it's an anime only arc we can have characters who are in general not the main focus do something..

The endings have nothing to do with the arcs, we get a new one every cour, January is the start of the first cour of the year.
With Toyotaro saying he'll be ahead of the anime I think the Hit episodes are going to be a full anime only arc that's around 10 or so episodes while Toyotaro goes ahead with Toriyama's next arc.
This is true; the ED for the 2nd half of the Zamasu arc was especially unrelated to the arc's content.
The ED's song title looks more like it'd belong with the previous arc to me. I'm still sitting here hoping for the Planet Salad arc that will probably never arrive.

The title is very interesting, that's for sure. I'm still expecting the Hit stuff to last for 10 or so episodes, so I kinda expect a new ED by the time we get to the next Toriyama arc.
Yeah..., I think the next arc by Mr. Toriyama won't be coming until April. Toyotarõ at best will finish the arc in two chapters, add at least a month to be ahead and March is the soonest it might arrive. Going by the current rhythm, I predict the manga needs at least three chapters to wrap up.
This would give the "Hit Arc" about twelve episodes. I can see it happen.

I see Toyotaro starting the next arc in January actually. I think he'll rush the final battle of the Future Trunks arc in one chapter in this month's V-Jump.

I find that very, very unlikely. I doubt he can shove the final battle, missing explanations and the goodbye to Trunks in just 39 pages. It would also be a big middle finger to everyone that actually accompanies the manga and to Toyotarõ himself.
I mean, Trunks against Babidi got almost half a chapter and that was very unnecessary to the skeleton of the story.

He rushed the shit out of the Hit battle and gave Super Shenlong a single panel, never underestimate how rushed the manga can be.

I disagree regarding the fight, the Shenlong part was definitely rushed. Although it isn't fair to compare since the manga has been evolving, just look at the speed of the BoG arc.
This is the only arc where the page count has been constant and is at the highest number. I would say the manga and anime schedules are finally synchronized and the manga currently doesn't rush anything, if it does is because Toyotarõ messed up and not to because he was told so.

What? You really believe we're going to have a filler arc with the same lenght as an actual arc? And that Toyotaro will finish the main arc in the manga at time, leading us to watch it later knowing everything that would happen in the new content then? Gosh, this would be underwhelming in so many ways, I really hope you're wrong lol

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

He means he thinks Toyotaro will finish the Future Trunks arc in 2 chapters at best.
With Toyotaro saying he'll be ahead of the anime soon it only makes sense for us to get a filler arc that is comparable to previous arcs in the series.

Oh, thank god. But no, I don't think this Hit arc will be longer, I believe mid February is the time we're getting into the main arc

Isn't this... uhh... a bit of a crazy response? It's a promotional interview. They're telling you what to look forward to. It's propaganda and advertising, sure, but they're not going to just sit there and lie at you.
I don't quite understand what world this is where you just ignore what you're being told from the source itself because... reasons...?

I don't know, by all the matters, people could still expect that he will be ahead of the anime, December he will deal with a good portion of the Future Trunks arc, leading to its end in January and in the same chapter having a premise of the next arc, I don't see that as impossible.

Toyotaro said the manga will get ahead of the anime again, and there's no way Toyotaro can finish FT Trunks in less than 2 chapters.
If that's true, the next major arc won't start before February at the earliest.
Also, when Toyotaro said that after FT Trunks "That promise everyone is waiting for will be fulfilled", I can't stop thinking about the Zeno's tournament. It's still too soon for that.
Not only we should have more worldbuilding and get to know other races from others Universes first, but it would also give more time for the production to keep improving so we can get a lot of cool fights when the tournament comes.
I want to believe that "promise" is Vegeta visiting Cabba's planet. With U6 cast back this week and Hit arc coming next, it's possible.
-New Ending-
I thought it would be hard to make a worst ending than Ending 4, but then we got Ending 6...
I just ask they don't come up with more food stuff.
I would like FLOW to gives us a Ending song. Not ony their Hero's song for BOG Movie was perfect, I also liked their songs for Naruto and Code Geass a lot.
They would certainly do better than these bands we are getting.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
