I like how while Nail is staggering and noting how much of a complicated battle it was, Goku remains unfazed. lol Figures.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I guess Goku must have trained but not as much as in canon. Ginyu's estimate of 60,000 would probably be accurate here.

Er... We just want what, Goku?coola wrote:

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I'm going to laugh if they pull the stunt in XV and have Guldo the last standing member (bar Ginyu).
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Is that Super!Goku?

Alright that was legitimately funny.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Loved the DB reference

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yeah, I liked this page. Guldo's face at the end there looks great as well.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Something I just realized (and liked) is this little statement from Ginyu!Bra on being pure good.

You gotta admit that he's not exactly wrong in that regard, especially when it comes to Vegetto.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Man I miss Ginyu-Bra. What a waste of time. All that plot, all that comedy, all that subtext from fans, all for nothing at the end of the day.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Still not seeing the logic of the "waste of time" notion. We got an entertainment chapter and fight out of it (which is the purpose of the fan manga), Ginyu was never final villain material and he is still around to possibly do more stuff in the future.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Nothing in that chapter was entertaining it was the very definition of a time waster. The fight was pathetically infuriating and in the end it was just one gigantic waste of potential. And amazingly enough it was also the very definition of filler, solely created because of the ginormous backlash to the infamous chapter before hand.
And of course no one expects Ginyu to be the finial boss. It's just that no one wanted him to be a boring time waster of a villein. And even if he comes back it will never be the same, as it could have been.

Well, if you say so.Gog wrote:Nothing in that chapter was entertaining it was the very definition of a time waster.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
From what I see it is the general opinion. But it is a filler chapter. Born from the rage of the last chapter.rereboy wrote:Well, if you say so.Gog wrote:Nothing in that chapter was entertaining it was the very definition of a time waster.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
To me, the "general opinion" seems to be that Ginyu's intervention was enjoyable and that they would even like to see more of him, and also disappointment regarding the intervention not adding to something bigger. But, like I said, if you say so.Gog wrote:

And that the chapter ended up being a complete and utter waste of potential and was a text book example of filler.rereboy wrote:To me, the "general opinion" seems to be that Ginyu's intervention was enjoyable and that they would even like to see more of him, and also disappointment regarding the intervention not adding to something bigger. "Filler" is what these special chapters are.Gog wrote: And that the chapter ended up being a complete and utter waste of potential and was a text book example of filler.
I don't agree with calling filler to absolutely everything that isn't the main plot/main villain/main fight (especially when the story is about a tournament with many fights all around).
Also, that was nothing to do with being entertaining or not.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
But, the chapter is technically filler, nothing was accomplished and everything when back to the norm in a couple of minutes. You could cut it off and it would not affect anything. It is the text book example of filler.rereboy wrote:"Filler" is what these special chapters are.Gog wrote: And that the chapter ended up being a complete and utter waste of potential and was a text book example of filler.

And in the end it was only entertaining for about seven pages, before it became a boring, disappointing waste of time. You could call it bad filler
