Does Dragon Ball Kai The Final Chapters have 2 Versions in Japanese?
One thing I noticed in Kai TFC is that it may have 2 different versions, specially the Gohan Transformation against Kibito and the Version which FUNimation used to dub over was this one as the last Kai Dub Episode on Adult Swim but there is another JPN Version of This Transformation of Kai TFC so does anyone know what is going on and why this Version has different Music
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

The Boo Arc of Kai does have two versions, yes.The Japanese version is different from the International release in that it has more episodes cut, different cropping, and has a sharpening filter applied.

Correct: the "original" Japanese broadcast is in fact an edited-down version of what they originally produced as the base for the international market. You may wish to read our two major articles about it (one / two) for more detail.

IMO the international version is drastically better than the Japan cut at least for this particular scene.

Yes I knew about International Version having more Episodes than Japanese Cut but I never knew that even the Japanese Version has 2 Different cuts of this transformation

Huh? That doesn't make any sense.
There's the International Cut (which is available in Japanese on foreign DVDs and Blu-Rays) and the Japanese TV cut (which is what came out on Japanese DVD and Blu-Ray). There isn't a third cut in Japanese.

I think he means 3 cuts in general. Japanese Japan cut, Japanese international cut & dubbed international cut.Danfun64 wrote:There isn't a third cut in Japanese.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

And that's what I'm saying doesn't make sense to me.
There's the Japanese TV Cut, and the International Cut (which happens to be available in Japanese). Under that logic Funimation's dub of Kai 1.0, which is unedited, is a "cut".

Can we accept that a dub is not the same thing as another cut? Yeah? Aight, I think the problem is solved, there are two cuts of the show, and all foreign dubs branch from the international cut.
Glad that could be sorted out.

Thank you Jinzoningen MULE, that was pretty much what I was trying to say.
