Most calm/relaxing/inspiring music from Dragon Ball

Post by Neo-Makaiōshin » Sun Apr 23, 2017 10:29 pm

What are the songs from Dragon Ball that leaves you calm, that relaxs you, that inspires you when hearing it/them?

For me it would be Goku SSJ4 theme from GT and the Genki Dama theme (Kyoukugen Battaru) from DBZ
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

I really enjoy Faulconer's "Home Sweet Home" and "New Earth Music" themes. Home Sweet Home is very serene and so relaxing.

If the Hit Song Collections count, these two are always relaxing to listen to:

VOICE - KŪKO

Hikari no Tabi '96 ~CLASSICAL NEW VERSION~ - Hironobu Kageyama & KŪKO

EDIT: This one's nice too:

I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

This. Just. This.

Goddamn it, this piece is so beautiful I literally ascend into a state of awkward not-even enlightenment when I hear it.

Definitely this one:
https://youtu.be/k0ZRIFpMRvk

It is such a nostalgic track for me and I have loved it ever since i first heard it.
"No. A sword is a weapon. Kenjutsu is the art of killing. Whatever pretty words you use to speak of it, this is its true nature. What Miss Kaoru says are the words of one who has never dirtied her hands. An idealistic joke. But, I like Miss Kaoru's idealism better than its true nature. If one can ask so much, I want the world to accept this joke as its true nature."

Everyone's saying they like this track so much but I only recall the last 2 BGMs on the track and I'm an obsessive Kikuchi BGM dumbass so I'm quite surprised I don't recognize the main portion of the track. It's super good but I have no recollection of it whatsoever.

How it is possible that nobody posted the famous “DUN DUN DUN” theme? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue1o67EzbFw

Wish i could remember the exact scene it was used in, doesn't help that most clips on youtube have the Falconer score.

I might be wrong but i vaguely remember it being used on Kami's lookout when Videl tells everyone she still thinks Gohan is alive. I will do some research when I get the chance

You 2 talking about the first track on there? It's only ever used in episode 287 during the scene where Goku asks Dende to heal Mr. Buu.

Bruce's version of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Doesn't get much better really.

Of course, I sometimes go to sleep to metal, so I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask.
