Bardock appearing in Super would be the last straw the breaks the camels back. I don't want Super to turn into fanfiction nonsense like Heroes or the videogame storylines.

But Broly's already there. So what's your point?

Only his transformation, not the actual character. As of right now, Kale isn't Broly.

Literally everyone in Super is in the same tier of power so I wouldn't worry too much about this.

So we can expect things like Bergamo going toe-to-toe with Roshi?

I wouldn't be too surprised tbh, lol. But on a more serious note, a lot of people would say Bergamo would beat Golden Frieza, but if they end up fighting each other something tells me Frieza would smoke him.
Here are some examples of everyone being in the same tier.
Piccolo fought with mystic Gohan. Mystic Gohan fought with SSB Goku. Trunks gets mad and fights with SSR Black and Zamasu. Trunks gets mad and fights fused Zamasu. Goku and Vegeta both have trouble with Black. Goku all of a sudden overpowers fused Zamsu and blasts half of his body off (something Vegeta and Trunks together didn't even do). Beerus though fighting with SSG Goku was fun. We later find out Beerus is still stronger than kaioken x10 Goku, and possibly even SSB Vegito. Golden Frieza is SSB level. Goku also goes SSB against 17. Goku is able to fight Hit in base form better than Vegeta did in SSB. Base Black starts overpowering SSB Vegeta, then Black goes SSR and Vegeta starts to put up a better fight. (did going SSR make Black weaker? lol)

Piccolo got his arm chopped by by Ultimate Gohan and Gohan has gotten much stronger since then. Piccolo's strongest attack during the double team battle didn't even make Goku go Super Saiyan.

Gohan only got two shots in on Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku. He mostly fought Super Saiyan 2 Goku and got one-shotted by Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan/Kaioken Goku.

Trunks hit Black once as he never touched him again. The next time they fought, Black tore Trunks apart and Goku and Vegeta had to protect Trunks before he got Super Saiyan Rage. Trunks only did well against Merged Zamasu become Vegetto softening him up and even then he needed the energy from others to finishing him off. It wasn't his own power.

Goku broke both of his arms and had to used the Kaioken for the rest.

Base Black only kicked Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta. He didn't overpower him.

Let alone the fact that the Divine Kaiouken had NO harming effect on Gattai Zamasu. Goku kicked him to the ground but the mutated arm came from Zamasu himself after his outburst when he forced his arm to look like that. The only "injury" was Zamasu's face after the beam struggle.

I understand the gods must be on Earth to take everyone to the arena place when the time comes, but do they really need to appear as goofy characters most of the time? That takes away all the imposing look.

Piccolo did not want to seriously hurt Goku or kill him so Piccolo only used enough power to put him off. Piccolo is obviously way stronger than base Goku so if you believe that attack was full power then the attack was an inconsistency in the episode 90.

Goku can easily transformed not to get hurt and Gohan had no problem nailing Tien into the ground and gut punching him. And they had Senzu. So it makes no sense for Piccolo to 'go easy' on Goku. This is the same person who choked out Gohan and nearly stopped his heart.

And Piccolo isn't way stronger than base form Goku. Not sure where you got that from. Especially since it makes no sense for Piccolo to bother to charge an attack for several seconds if he could just bodied Goku in his base or not even make the attack strong enough to forced Goku to transformed.

Gohan's the potential boy, it can only work for him, its his gig.
Goku's the limit breaker, unlocking new forms and reaching new heights is his thing.
Vegeta's the jobber, got a new foe needing hype? Vegeta's your man for the job.
Or so at least most of the time this is what their rank is.

Not everyone is a Gohan.

But not everyone is chiaotzu either, piccolo can clearly still get stronger through training, Krillin was talking about getting stronger with gohan even roshi managed to get so much more powerful, nearly everyone still has the potential to get stronger by a lot.

Everyone can still get stronger, but that's not the same thing. Gohan has his potential unlocked and he can still get stronger.

Gohan is still said to have most potential, if all of it was done for and taken out in the buu arc this line wouldn't hold any meaning..
Potential changes as time passes, that was Gohan's max potential at that time, same concept applies to everyone else

I don't think it's an entire day, gohan had it done when Gotenks was still fighting, In SS3, fusion dosen't last longer than 30 mins and SS3 makes it go even faster..
Of course I could be remembering something wrongly as well
