With Dr. Wheelo just confirmed for BT3, this seems like a good time to ask.
Dr. Cochin (or Kochin, whichever you prefer), the old guy who worked for Wheelo/Willow/Uiro; did they ever say what he was, one way or another? I mean, if he had always been a robot, or if he once was a human who, like Gero, put his brain in a robot's body?
They didn't seem to say in the actual movie; wondering if Daizenshuu 6 or 7 might have shed some light.
Thanks in advance.

No, remember near the end of the movie? When Dr. Wheelo comes out of the wall and Kochin falls off? He sparks with electricty, then his skin "blows off" to reveal a metal body before he explodes.
