Makes it sound like The Fairly OddParents. I would have Vados remind me of stuff I continually forget, have her protect me (and others around me) from danger, provide wisdom and guidance, make changes in the weather, and fix certain world issues, if that's allowed. Can't think of other stuff, so I'll tell her to mind her business and give me a device to call her in case I need her.

which explanation? a lot of people are misunderstanding the point of the rules. they are necessary for complete objectivity so that sexual interest is never a major factor when someone is selecting their angel (not including visual stimulation, since the design choices are very important as well). it also helps with the immersion since if this were actually legit, people would not be allowed to have sex with these angels for obvious reasons (they are angels), just as you stated.
my opinions on which angels i chose was a pretty deep dive into some aspects of the personal life i would be living with my angel, so it's understandable if people interpret it in a different way than usual. the lower section below the rules and regulations should not affect anyone's opinion on this thread for that reason as well. the rules and regulations are to help with objectivity and immersion, my angel choices are just my opinions based on those rules for fairness.

i was thinking about whis too, but i'm vegan, and he'd likely want to eat indiscriminately. also i'd probably go broke buying him so much food. then again it might not be a big deal. he doesn't NEED to eat. he just eats as much as he wants based on what's available i guess.

i don't know. if that's what everyone is fussing over then that would be illogical of them. i suppose you are right though. that's just the kind of thing people usually do, rather than enjoying a good thing for what it is.

the contract between you and your angel would have many differences from the angel and GoD. the angels are attendants to the GoD, but they are also doing a job. the GoD's duty is to their universe and to zeno. the angels carry out their job with that in mind. however, none of that would matter in this contract because it's based on your personal life. so the angel wouldn't have any reason to report anything you do. if you do anything off contract then the contract would end after some warnings. that's pretty much it.
