Did I ever mentioned battle powers in my previous post? When I talk about #17 progress is about his current personality. And no, I remember Trunks trying to attack Semi Perfect when he was about to became Perfect and that's it no more of it.
You're so biased that it's funny, I'm not comparing Z Vegeta as a whole to Super!Vegeta and yes with Boo arc Vegeta, as I said earlier: "I use as reference cause it was Vegeta major development arc". But anyway, let's go.
Super vegeta:
-Puts family over everything
-willing not to leave bulma side(yeah let's pretend that's something z vegeta would do)
-actually trains future trunks and teaches him all his techniques(something z vegeta wouldn't even do)
-he barely cares about surpassing goku this is shown all the time
-his relationship with bulma improves every saga
- He flew off the island they were on vacations to train in the Gravity Room, he was gone for several months to train with Whis. The only time Vegeta puts family over everything was with Bra being born.
- Sorry, but when? He show signs of dissatisfaction when she shows affection towards him.
- Oh really? Like Boo arc Vegeta wasn't training with Trunks right? We could pretty much assume he teach some techniques to his son.
- He was desperate to Whis train him in order to surpass Goku and was angry when later discovered that Goku still one step ahead of him with the SSJB+Kaioken combo.
- His relationship with Bulma improved a lot in the end of Android arc to the Boo arc. In Super is somewhat stagnant and less appealing.
I'm not saying that he should be exactly like #17 when fighting, we can have bad tempered Vegeta as much as we want, but without making the same mistakes of understimating his opponents and attacking without thinking. Would it make sense for Gees to be neutered after Buu, yeah. Would it be entertaining, heck no and thats the whole point of the show.
Of course it would be entertaining, seeing Vegeta settled down with everyone on Earth, having no problems with his wife showing affection, still training to become stronger, not giving a damn to Goku and being a smarter fighter, it would be very nice.
