I love that they brought those muscles back, but I didn't like much the cat pupils, I mean just gray or SSJ3 pupils would be better. I'm glad is not just another stupid recolor.

1 hour DB TV special this fall, we're getting the key visual next week.

Apparently it might be a OP crossover if so zzz.

Damn, I hate those crossovers, can't they do one DB related for once? I mean I would love one about Freeza.

Like a lot of stylistic and design choices made in Super, it was done purely for fan service.

Probably shouldn't take too much stock into this, and as much as I hate to say it, I don't see the U6 Namekians on here; which leads me to believe they won't play a much of a role. We'll see.

They are all characters that have been shown before. Just calm down. We have not even seen them for 1 second fully on the stage. Think of the positives such as there are 2 of them, they were hidden, and they look like Piccolo and Lord Slug.

Is anyone actually excited to see this new form apart from the way it actually looks.

Well, what else do forms do aside from looking pretty?
Because mostly, power boost are completely plot dependent without any logic whatsoever..

That is the problem it is always mainly cosmetic.

I think they are just Toriyama's designs and yhat is why Piccolo's muscles are yellow instead of pink.

I wouldn't mind a Future Majin Buu Saga, as long as it didn't copy the Super manga. Have the full anime take on it since all we got were a brief glimpse in Episode 49. The special can end with Black killing Shin after he returns to the World of the Kais, relived that Buu was finally dealt with.

That would be tragically hilarious, though it would also contradict the anime. Shin dies before Back appears and Trunks knows this, unless he makes weekly visits to the land of the Kais.

That was only in the manga. The anime never claimed that.

.. those definitely seem like slit pupils..

Gotta admit, this one single design choice actually makes the whole thing work for me. The black hair and silver colored eyes alone probably wouldn't have impressed at all, but reptilian/cat like eyes are...interesting. Makes it look just a tad bit more menacing.

I really don't know where you people are seeing slit pupils here. It's a normal, rounded pupil with a white reflex above it. Here:

The scan says that Universe 2's team not only has an Yardratian, but also a Tsufurian.

Exactly! Isn't supposed the races for one particular universe to only inhabit in his twin counterpart? Yardratians and Tsufurian should be at U6 not U2

Pretty cool looking new form! Simple yet original enough to have a new hairstyle. I like it.

I think it will be something related to the Completed SSB in the manga (which of course would be forced in the anime, but who cares at this point?)

So is that what the form looks like or is it still a transition? Silver eyes suggest silver hair to be honest, and the hair looks exactly like one would expect it to look after seeing the old visual, which was stated to represent Goku breaking "new grounds".

I don't know why Toyo made Gohan have Piccolo's attire. it's just visually inferior to him having the orange gi. the cat eyes is a weird design choice. has to correlate with the nature of the form. i like the silver but not really the pupil look. would be cool if his hair goes white.
