What Do You NOT Want To See in Episodes 109-110?

Since this tournament started we haven't gotten one high quality fight so I don't want them to waste time here, these 2 need to be an epic Goku vs Jerin fight from start to finish.

I thought Gohan vs Obuni was a great fight from start to finish.

I dont want to see jiren being one dimensional and fake tension

Almost no anime or show is capable of delivering 2 straight episodes of nonstop top tier action animation. We're going to get good action, but expecting it to not take any breaks and be nonstop for two straight episodes is a pipe dream.

The original 2 anime did it all the time, especially Z.

A long spirit bomb charging scene where every team member makes a speech while giving their energy to Goku, and all of the other fighters in the arena conveniently forget that there's a battle for the fate of their universes going on, and they just stand there and watch it happen.

Those are my main concerns, but as long as it is for the better good in terms of aesthetics and animation, I don't care. I think with this production it's pretty impossible they'll deliver a constant fight or action packed episode, but let's not lose hope.

Also, I don't want commentary from the sidelines. I hate when that happens. Who cares what Shin or Beerus says, and I don't want Whis explaining to me how or why things happens, I'm not stupid. So pretty much that.

And actually I'm pretty close to start praying for the whole transformation/technique thing not being completely random and a thing that we will remember just as the Kaioken x10.

I went back in watch Roshi vs Goku and nooooooo! The dragon ball anime did not age well .

Goku as SSBxKKx20 still not as strong as Beerus

No explanation for the form
Form is actually based on move without thinking technique
This technique somehow lets him physically overpower Jiren
Find out later both Jiren and Goku were “holding back”

When people talk about how great Goku vs Cell is, they most likely think about this cut of animation:

Of course, a lot of people don't know that part of the fight wasn't even produced by Toei Animation. In fact, the entire episode where that cut of animation takes place in (Episode 179), which I will admit is one of the high points in the franchise in terms of fight choreography blended with good animation, was produced by an outside studio called Studio Cockpit. Prior to that episode, Goku vs Cell was pretty unspectacular visually and in terms of fight choreography in the anime. The fight in the manga though, that was awesome.

It's the same deal with Goku vs Majin Vegeta.

And thinks that how the entire fight was, but it wasn't. 90% of that fight was really nothing special in terms of animation or fight choreography.

Badly written choreography, lack of emotion and intensity, plot saving Goku but that's asking for too much.

It and the original's other fights are still light years ahead of what we got in this tournament so far. But of course the only way to justify its lack of quality fights is to bring the original down.

In terms of the others, they're just as bad but they didn't last. These 3 on the other hand are being forced everywhere. One of them is in what's supposed to be Goku and Jerin's episode.

The voices could potentially be fixed in the dub but even if they do there's no getting around the way they're written. The franchise has shown the ability of writing great characters like Bulma, Launch, 18 & Videl (Buu arc) so I don't know how they dropped the ball this bad.

Perfect Cell. The other two forms of Cell were fine, but Perfect Cell is such an annoying bore.
