Well played, Mr. Hague
So, what do you guys think they'll do in terms of story/cutscenes?

I second the notion. "Burst Limit" just sounds like...I don't know what exactly, but not a title.
I think its trying to say something like bursting through the limit like when Goku turned Super Saiyan he burst through the limit and when Gohan turned Super Saiyan 2 he burst through the limit, hence the title DragonBall Z: Burst Limit. Thats what I think, though I could be wrong.

I could imagine it being an in-game feature, though that's just me. There was no "Sparking!" gauge for something in those games.

Can we please stop getting the same story? Please? No story mode is better than a story mode at this point. We get it. Please, whoever develops this, stop.
Another fighting game. Great.
I still haven't tried NEO or METEOR. And I probably never will.
At least this one has pretty screenshots?

The guy who I quoted, his username is Oliver Hague.
and Duo, I would like some original storylines, a lot more than we've been getting, but I don't think they'll cut out the very storylines of the shows that the games are based off of.

Battle Stadium DON begs to differ with you, and that's probably not coming out here. This looks legit. Especially being from NeoGAF
Also looks Super DBZ style. Add in Live play, and I'm all in. I GOT YO NUMBER, EX!
If it is Super DBZ style, I'll finally have a reason to get a PS3 or 360.

Dragonball on seX-Box (X-box) 360, sounds like a sin to me.
I think some smoting is in order.
Other than initial, 'smoting' the game... well, I don't know anything about the game... so yeah - looks a little like Budokai 3 to me.

To those wondering, the game is being developped by Dimps.

Ah, ok so it's being developed by the old crew then. Thanks for clearing that up for me Captain Awesome.
This doesn't affect me all that much as I don't have a PS3 or a 360, but it still looks awesome, and I can dream of a Wii release.

I read the first blog post (Google), and this is what I got out of it:
-Development is being done in Osaka (Dimps), and they are working on the game with 120% of their effort.
-It was officially announced today (Dec 17th), but has been in development for a while.
-A trailer of Burst Limit should be featured at Jump Festa 08 (Dec 21/22-23?). The trailer will be available on the site at a later time. (It'll probably be on the site the same day or a few days after the trailer is revealed at Jump Festa.)
-There will be future announcements in V-Jump ect. (Obviously, though..)

THANK GOD! Man this a relief, hopefully Ryo Mito isn't involved and it goes back to the original director/designers.

Dimps! Suddenly, I'm about ten times more excited for this. Sparking was a good series, but my heart will always lie with the Budokais.

Dimps made the Budokai series, right? If so, this game better come to PS2! Although I have been playing the BT series a lot, so it'll take a while for me to get back to using the Budokai game style.
Next quest: Start collecting Dragon Ball Super Blu-Rays whenever season sets get released. Also the Super Manga!

Well this games' yet another reason why I'm getting the PS3. 20% discount helps too! Personally I hope Dimps makes this game in the same fashion as the Budokai series with some next gen features of course. PS3 games are region free right?

Yeah, all PS3 games are region free. (Developers
do have the option to region lock their PS3 games, but it hasn't happened yet.)

Yeah, they did. Don't count on this game coming to the PS2(+A Wii port). If you really want it, you might have to upgrade to the PS3/360.
