Kazumi Tanaka (various roles) passed away on 12/20/2007

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but apparently Kazumi Tanaka, whose largest role in the series was that of the character Jheese, passed away this past Thursday.

According to his Wikipedia article, he died of cor pulmonale.

Aw, that sucks. All of the great Seiyuu are getting old and dieing. I haven't read the wiki article yet, but I hope it was quick and painless for him. TT_TT

What are we gonna do when Masako Nozawa inevitably passes away?

Don't want to think about Ms. Nozawa because she's a few months older than my grandma. Thinking of her mortality, makes me think of my personal issue.

Oh crap.

I almost had a heart attack, out of no disrespect to Mr Tanaka, but I misread the title as "Mayumi Tanaka" and started freaking out.

It really is sad to think about these people passing away, mortality kind of slaps you in the face when you realize even your favorite anime characters don't last forever.

They should make a program so that they can just type in what they want them to say and the computer will take their voices and make it so when they die they can still milk DBZ.

So sad, Jeice's VA passing away like that, it breaks my heart.

Makes me worry about not only Masako Nowasa but Toru Furuya and Mayumi Tanaka too.
