If you could fuse any shonen manga with DB, which one would it be?
Which manga would be cool to merge into the Db manga? Example, Like that one piece x dragon ball one shot from years ago. I honestly would love to merge Dragon ball with Fist From the North Star. Dragon Fist from the North Kai! Lol. Imagine how crazy that would be?
Re: If you could fuse any shonen manga with DB, which one would it be?
I had thought about that. But do I really need to be bound by shonen? Because other than Naruto, the others aren't shonen. I would like Dragon Ball to be "merged" with/to have a crossover with Avatar. I would love to see the elements being used. It is too bad that after all this time, Dragon Ball has little use of it and the little it has, it has been extremely poorly handled.
The others are Marvel comics (for the Multiverse, Megaverse, probably even Omniverse and the alternate dimension issues to be fully dealed and incorporated), Naruto (for great and diversified combats) and Transformers (just because I also like it a lot).

One Punch Man, just so Saitama can get his ass kicked and his fanboys will finally shut up.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

If it has to be shonen manga then only Saitama from one punch man will be certain to hold his own infront of frequent power escalations..
If LN's can be considered as well, that would open up a whole new set of characters capable of causing waves in DB world..

Rokudenashi Blues.
It would be wonderful harmony of both stories underlying theme of personal progression and evolution through fights and I would finally have a story of Goku is a high school setting...

Naruto. Simply because they're my two favorite anime of all time.

Saint Seiya and Bastard. They are the only other Shonen manga/anime with comparable levels of powerscaling.

You know, the contrarians who think DB should be a Slice-of-Life series, the folks who worship Pre-Raditz Dragonball uncritically, the folks who downplay and often flat-out deny that Dragonball is an action series, the folks who try to push that false argument that none of the serious moments in the series were mean't to be taken seriously, etc.
Dragonball doesn't have a single tone. It has both silly and serious moments, both humor and drama, just like real life. The idea that a work of fiction should be only all-comedy or all-serious is unnatural and frankly, retarded.

Lets really push the boat out.
Devilman was first published in weekly shonen magazine in 1972 and it's tv series was done by Toei.

Kenshiro would destroy the Red Ribbon Army singlehandedly! However, I would have liked to merge Yu-Gi-Oh! Or the likes of Pokémon, if the latter could count as one of the Shonen Animes.Berserker1921 wrote:Which manga would be cool to merge into the Db manga? This could work for One Piece or Naruto, but I think it would be interesting to see the Frieza force try to invade their world and then have them try to fight them off.
The warlords and world government could team up and try and take down the top level Frieza soldiers in an all out crazy fight between pirates and space pirates, and to beat Frieza they could probably pull some gag where someone like Sugar touches him and he turns into a toy.
For Naruto they could have a different top level Frieza soldier go to each village where it takes the entire village to stop them, and then Naruto and Sasuke could team up on Frieza and then use the seal they used on Kaguya before he transforms.

I've always felt that any shonen concept (Stands, Zanpakuto, Noble Phantasms, Haki, Duel Monsters) could fit easily in the world of DB as it was a simple parody-based story with few set rules.

Why stop at Shonen or manga in general? I'm sure everyone is dying to see Superman & Goku finally meet and then fight, their battle being interrupted though after True Darkseid makes Freeza his prime avatar and then Superman & Goku have to fuse in order to defeat the threat. Such a storyline could open into a DB/DC merge like how DC & Marvel briefly merged their characters back in the 90's for a series of comics.
