DBZ Screen Shot Posters

Post by S-toon » Mon May 04, 2020 10:38 am

Hi everyone, new here so I hope I'm posting in the right place. Anyway, I have made, tried to make, some posters, from 2 screen shot scenes that I found here a while back. They didn't come out the best so was hoping I could get some help in getting higher resolution, higher quality, screen shots from people here!

Here are the 2 that I got from here awhile back.

And here they are printed and framed. Not the best pics, the camera on my phone sucks lol

So yeah I would really appreciate some help in getting some high quality, high resolution of those same 2 shots to be able to print as posters, as I used a free online poster maker and when they got blown up the quality wasn't as good. I used https://rasterbator.net/ to make them. The first one used 2 sheets of paper, but I would like to try and print it a little bigger, like that second one, as the second one used 3 sheets of paper, but you can see where the 3 pages come together and don't like that, and if I can actually get some really good high resolution screens grabs then I would try and actually get them printed thru an online poster maker so they look really good like actual posters :D

Thanks,

Making high quality posters from screenshots can be tough but you could try using footage from the Level Sets to recreate those camera pans.

Here's examples of their video quality:

On the other hand, I'd suggest using manga panels for posters which could be found or scanned at higher resolutions.

God, I wish more people would make camera pans using the Level Set footage.

True but you'd be limited to the first 39 episodes.

Yeah, but there are still a lot to be made.

Looks like I'm going to have to go with the manga pages instead! Going to print out a few and put them in a frame like the other ones I have. Hopefully it will come out good :)

Sounds like a plan and I'm sure they will.

Can't argue with you there and sidebar, your camera pans are phenomenal.

Here is what I ended up doing. Didn't come out perfect but I think it came out pretty good! Framed and up on my wall :D

Not bad at all! My only critique would be perhaps limiting the number of panels used. It feels like you've got a bunch of poster-worthy pages all fighting for attention in that frame. Maybe test printing a single page or set of panels blown up to that size?

If there are any in particular you want done, send me a PM; I can make them quite easily, provided I know which episode they're in, and roughly where in there to look.
The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

Thanks! I was kind of going for that lol like a collage since I was just worried that blowing up pages would just make them pixelated, blurry, ect so they wouldn't look as good bigger so was just going for a collage from the manga and took the pages that showed Kamehameha vs Galick Gun.
