.RMVB question...

Post by Saiyavenger2941 » Thu May 15, 2008 8:40 pm

So... I have all my episodes in the super small RMVB format, and while the small size is convenient, I can't use the episodes in either Vegas or WMM. So, my question is this: What would be the best format to convert to, that keeps the filesize, but allows me to use the clips in Vegas and/or Movie Maker? Keeping these files small isn't just an option for me; It's a requirement.

So... Anybody?

... don't edit AMVs from RealVideo source files?

Seriously. You're barking up the wrong tree. This isn't a battle you're going to win, be it from an ethical/moral/etc. standpoint or a technical standpoint.

Pretty much what he says is true. If you are going to edit with Dragonball Z footage than you want .vob, comes from those magical things called DVD's, Sony Vegas runs perfectly with them, i doubt WMM would. If you do however want to proceed with editing...with..real media source..then convert it to a loseless codec such as Lagarith or Huffyuv to retain quality, Little of it there will be in the first place, although the file size will be in the gigabytes area...Just..try something thats not bootlegging and you'll be set! o:
i got a dragonbox ^_^!
