Dragonball The.... Mircocontroller?

Post by Freeza Heika » Sat Aug 02, 2008 12:17 am

I was browsing through wikipedia, when I came across this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonball_%28CPU%29

Some of you might know about this, but I was a little surprised to see it. Does anyone know any more about the naming of it; could it be a random coincadense? I know it's not really breaking news, or important really, but it piqued my curiosity.

Now I see it! What is it...Oh cool! It is just a name for a processor.
Pretty cool! No info on when it was made...I wonder because I wanna know if Dragonball had anything to do with the name of the product.

Whenever I hear people talk about the programming language "Erlang", I can't help but think of Tenshinhan... :D :)
(Erlang Shin being ... I think the character from Journey to theWest on which Ten is based. Unless I'm thinking of his name from DB:Crisis...).

Well the product was developed in China, which is a country with a lot of anime influence; so I'm willing to bet that the developer was just a fan of the series.
