There you have it. If we are going to make a power level list, this should be the core of our study. There are levels given in the Daizenshuu’s as well as the Anime not listed above. I’ll list the levels from the Daizenshuu’s and Anime, since some of them actually make a bit of sense, BUT THEY ARE VERY MUCH DISPUTABLE. First, the Anime:

I refuse to let this term "Zenkai" be used on my board to refer to the power-up that Saiya-jin receive from reaching near-death. It's nowhere in the manga, or even the daizenshuu as far as I know.

Power level lists past the Namek era (not considering Trunks' surpressed power of 5) are all hopelessly inconclusive, since nothing makes one person's list more accurate than anyone else's. Perfect Cell could have a power level of 500 million or 5 billion, it doesn't make much difference since he can kill everyone's ass, anyway. SSJ Goku was a whole 3 MILLION power units (or whatever) stronger than Freeza on Namek, but it took him forever too actually beat him. Vegeta was only a few thousands levels above some of Freeza's henchmen and yet completely decimated them like so much garbage.

Really, we could just spit out random numbers till the cows come home.

Ergo, USSj2 Vegeta < 50% Fp-SSj Goku. This confuses me, as that means Cell held back a ridiculous amount of power when fighting Vegeta and Trunks, but hey, it's stated, and we can't argue about it.

Other than that, I actually can't find any flaws in it! Just adjust the KK level of Goku in the Saiyan battle, bump everything up in the later Cell saga to make up for the above mistake, and I think DBZ's pretty much wrapped up!

Now, if you could only use those math skills for DB and DBGT...

I'll still post my own levels in a little while, but I'd be hard-pressed to beat yours.

Also, I guess we shouldn't use the term "Zenkai" anymore, so I guess we'll stick with "power-up." Okay, that sounds awful, are there any cooler-sounding words we can use?

This is an explanation of the card links posted earlier. If you look on the right side of each of the cards, there are power level stages. Normally, there are around ten of these, and are listed in increasing order from bottom to top.

As you can see, the Tenshinhan (Tien) card has a max power level of 1000. Whereas, the card for Bulma lists her as having a power level of 1 000 000!

The sad truth is that these are the most "official" power levels done through Funimation because of course; the DBZ CCG is licensed by them. As well, their staff continually checks Score's (the card company) designs before having them released, in order to "maintain accuracy" with the Dragonball series.

I don't know about Kaiou-ken doubling a person's power. I thought it just increases it a lot, and the Kaiou-ken x2 doubles whatever the Kaiou-ken x1 does...or something.

Forget your power level list...if you want the GREATEST one ever, include in brackets next to each character power the calculated results of what their power would be in that measurement Babidi used. Then your list would pWnz0|2.

1. Yes, I realize that KK=basex2, but, errr, that would also mean KKx2=basex2, which, as you noted, is a plothole. I tried KKx2=basex2.5, but that makes it 20,000, which is higher than Vegeta's power level, even though Vegeta>KKx2 Goku. I just made KK base x1.5, as KK=KKx2 would confuse most people.
2. I'm trying to fit the 50% Goku>USSJ Vegeta thing in, but I can't do it at the moment without screwing the whole list up, seriously. I'm trying to fit it in...
3. I have no interest in doing GT, as I'm doing canon levels only, but I'm working hard on DB. This DBZ one is almost my final list (I think it's version 15! I've put hard work into it!) ô
