Professionally edited Dragonball Z trailers

Post by Aoi » Tue Jun 16, 2009 11:49 am

Hello all.
I want to take a chance to post here for this.
A few months ago, I posted 2-3 trailers by a Mexican guy called "Exos" (Screen name). He's a graphics designer at one of their Universities.

At the time, few people around the net were jaw dropped, including some people on this forum.

But now, he's finished the entire DBZ series (around 10 trailers) and is currently working on the movies.

This one (for movie 9) has to be seen to believed.
He's even starting to get international recognition now in the DBZ community. He's that good. (One of his trailers was actually played live in an Argentinean anime channel, a youtube video  )

His skills have improved significantly since my last post. WAtch his "Kid Buu" fight trailer to see how.

It reminds me of a mix of J.J. Abrams and Funimation. I like it though. It is definitely better than the average anime trailer.

Wow, that was pretty good. :3

It's got a more hardcore version of oldschool Toonami going for it.
Also I really liked the music. Very epic-sounding. X3

Great trailer... if anyone's wondering, most (if not all) the music is by Immediate Music.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Great, but are trailers supposed to show the whole movie? :P
Otherwise very well made. And great music.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

I know, when I watched it, I felt exactly the same.

Yeah that was the only bad I found about the videos.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

These are neat. Although I have to echo a few other people by saying these could do with some shortening as to not give away everything in the movie.
Regardless very professional.

Wow, these are pretty good, especially the timing between the video and the music.

Now, not to totally undermine the main focus of this thread or anything, but here are some other awesome trailer's, made by 007 vegita of www.dbzsc.com. These are exactly like what you expect a modern American theatrical trailer for DBZ to look, sound and feel like:

He's actually the one who made those Naruto:Final Conflict trailers. Those are the first anime fan-trailers I saw that actually made me WANT to see Naruto fight for Sasuke.
