How did you decide/get your avatar?

Added Brenden/Ruby(from Pokemon Ruby) to my avatar and made it animated. Just felt it would make it more complete.

The only thing weird about that avatar is that it isn't very consistent, with Haruka wearing her Emerald outfit and Yuki wearing Ruby/Sapphire garb.

I use Japanese names. Deal with it.

Yeah, I know. I was in a rush so for the Brendan/Ruby drawing I just picked what I could find, and that was his Ruby/Emerald artwork.

I might change it eventually though.

Although I don't know if I should make Brendan/Ruby wear his Emerald outfit, or if May/Sapphire should wear her Ruby/Sapphire outfit... The latter might be easier.

EDIT: fix'd. I decided to make May/Sapphire don her Ruby/Sapphire apparel. It was much easier than I thought it would be, as it was mostly palette modification.

I also corrected a few flaws I found with the artwork, such as the displaced nose, and a few errors with the shading.

I don't mind. I just use the English names because I am more familiar with them.

You're probably thinking, why doesn't he just look at the username... well I like to look at the pretty pictures instead. And to answer your question, yes, I do know all of you by avatar.

More or less I'd say it's a mutual kick, by way of our recent reminiscing of childhood nostalgia (we both grew up with these movies).

MUCH better than the "Wonder Twins" quote from earlier.

Though it just doesn't carry the same impact without the demonic/maniacal laughter at the end.

Seriously, I'm very good at remembering names and faces, so I still know who you are even when you change you're avatar. Besides Roark, you've been changing you're avatar so frequently lately that some people may forget who you are.

Funny thing is that I didn't expect that it would be gory, I chose it by it's name mostly. Then came the gore, and I reverted back into my child self and was like: "AWESOME".
Parasyte made me interested in other similar manga. One that I read now is Franken Fran, about a frankenstein-like girl named Fran that experiment on people without much guilt

Not so much with myself, but it does throw me off when other people change their avatars.
