I think there are some torrents around the internets. Check TPB or Demonoid. They should do at least until we get an official download or something.

God, I really hope that TFS finds another site to put up more material. I finally have Ghost Nappa on my IPod, so I'm never going to lose it! 8)
Next quest: Start collecting Dragon Ball Super Blu-Rays whenever season sets get released. Also the Super Manga!

I think popularity has something to do with whether you're taken down or not. Gokuden's channel only has like 1000 subscribers. TFS's channel had something closer to half a million, I think.

95700+ more like. :(

I lost a bunch of videos in this purge. It's quite disheatening, considering the amount of work I put into it all...

Say, could we call this "Vegeta's Middle Finger" protest "The Day of Many Sinister Fingers"?

This guy seems to still have them up. At least episode 1, that is the only one I checked, checking the others now.

I checked my e-mail last night only to find out that Toei had taken I video down that I put up.

It was a clip of the Dub of GT with Original Music (Yi Xing Long's Death), since all the other videos were just the Dub with Menza's score. Oddly, that was the only one taken down, and I have a fandub of that exact scene and it wasn't taken down. I'm kinda worried that Toei will even take down my South Park style DBZ Parody, even though they really can't do that, they had no part in that clip. All that's theirs is the fact that it's Dragon Ball Z.

Plus, suspending TeamFourStar is a really retarded idea. This isn't some channel like mine with only 116 subs. This is a channel with over 95,000 subscribers, people are really gonna notice when they disappear.

I know DBZ belongs to them, but really? Going after parodies and just small clips? They should be going after the people who upload entire episodes... God...

I might have to make a back-up for my back-up (current channel). I've gone through one channel and had about as much videos as I do now. I have a feeling if Toei goes around again, my channel and many others could be gone tomorrow that are there right now.

Also, I'm aware of others getting suspended like JulieYBM, he lost 6 accounts, what the fuck?!

I like the format of YouTube, I just really don't like how they handle "Copyright Issues" and "Fair Use". Plus, my first account got suspended due to a bullshit claim on a parody of the 10th Pokémon Movie. That still annoys me even now.

But, I'm wondering more about users like Innagadadavida, and Remix (subscribed to you both), they seem likely to be targets if Toei comes back for a round 2.

I don't understand why they would take TFS down. It is just a parody. If anything it serves as an advertisement for the show. The footage may belong to Toei, but this is not fair. It's not as if they are posting full episodes up there. Although on the plus side, I still have all the episodes and nearly all the specials on my iPod.

TFS can still get a lot of exposure from their affiliation with thatguywiththeglasses.com and can still earn money from blip.tv.

It sucks that they lost a vast majority of their audience, but people will know where to find them again.

I don't mind getting my stuff taken down just as long as all the posers who stole Naruto Ball Z go down with me.

I'm assuming this has something to do with the massive decline in animation profit in Japan(see CNN thread). Many companies are losing money do to pirated downloads. However TFS's stuff was all parody and youtube had no right to pull those videos down.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I am thinking it might jus have been since they used dragonball footage. If they TFS had drawn it or acted it, I am sure it would still be up. But since they used footage Toei owns I am not sure that would be protected under "parody". They would have had to clear it first.

Dragonball isn't in the same boat as many of those shows that are losing money. Toei knows that and they SHOULD be taking down the One Piece episodes on Youtube.Maybe if Japan stopped producing moe garbage they wouldn't be losing money.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Also Cyberdemon666, the guy who made those anime+games videos?

Yep. Gone.

EDIT. Hell, even people who were uploading Toonami DBZ intros
are being suspended...

Yet, Gokuden stays...

Is this guy him?: http://www.youtube.com/user/gokuden

Because unless he's always had only 2 videos on his account, they've gotten to him in some capacity.

Yeah, I know about him, but I have no idea what his YouTube page is.
That's why I just typed in the name and thought that would bring me there.
(Which is an awful assumption on my part because the person on YouTube who's got my name isn't me. I'm WildwoodDaze there.)

I assumed what I found on the above link was his page with all the bootlegged stuff deleted by YouTube, but it seemed weird to me because if it was his page, I'd think Toei would've had his whole account suspended the way they did TFS.

Has he not been reported yet because he's not as well-known?

The Gokuden you're thinking of goes by the same name there as he went by here: Gokuden553.

Well, folks...

If you have an account that hasn't been hit yet, then take my advice: Private every video until the storm blows over.
Hi, I'm WeeklyTubeShow. Innagadadavida and I like to make videos.

Perhaps you'd like to see one.
