Oh my God, that was a perfect Julian impression Mike. :p

Gah, I don't even import the series proper's music so I don't foresee myself picking up such a...odd looking CD. Nice to see the actual content is good.

Does this really warrant a whole episode?

I'd pay more attention if Godo made a cover  . Wait a second. That's a great idea! GODO, MAKE A COVER OF A SONG!

Does a Japanese cartoon from 20 years ago warrant its own weekly podcast?

We cover anything and everything that affects the version of the property that we love so much, and our website has a huge fascination with, investment in, and dedicated to its music. Shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone (well, unless you're only just now visiting for the very first time in your life...).

Shame you guys won't be making a podcast next week.

What can I do with my sad pathetic void of a life if I don't have Daizex?!

Point taken.

And no, this isn't my first time. I've been listening for a year.

It's strange that I actually know who Shokotan is now.
I only really know her from Pokémon Sunday though.
It sounds pretty good! Her voice seems older than it does in that one Pokemon Ending.
It's a good thing!

Yeah, for a moment I thought Julian had sent in a recording and Mike was joking about "reading."

Another surprise: I actually liked Shoko-tan-chan-kun-san's cover of Dan Dan, I'm seriously considering getting the CD (of course, if it had Karaoke tracks I'd definitely buy it...).

I'm still waiting for that marital arts episode, but that won't happen until there's no other new stuff. So we have to wait until VS Tag and *insert Kai secret* and other stuff is gone so they don't have a topic.

What...?

You make it sound like we have absolutely nothing to talk about. It's not like the news replaces genuine topics (well, it does, but that's once in a blue moon). With few exceptions, there has been a legitimate topic/review/discussion for almost five years, now. Weekly. Hell, I just said on this very episode that I have a master list of topics for the show, which does indeed get chipped away at each week. Of course, it gets added to quite frequently, too... but that's the beauty of it, since it means never running out of things to discuss.

Just because we haven't gotten to (insert requested topic here) doesn't mean "OH MAN THEY AIN'T GOT NUTHIN' TO TALK ABOUT!"

EDIT: I think that comes off as a little defensive. You know me, though. I don't get defensive -- I GET LOGICAL.

I was actually saying that you always have something. Which is a shame, because there is stuff you said you would do like, a year ago, and you may not get around to it for another year or so. If anything, you have too much to talk about.

Well, there was the wedding episode... I'm sure that qualifies as "marital arts."

I think that whenever Mike wants to take a week off, Heath-jio and Jakerms (...yeah...) should take over for that week. Like the wedding episode (so desire can come back too). Like how Johnny Carson would take every Friday off and pass it off to a guest host. Who's with me!? Where are you guys going? Guys? Guys...?

That, my friend, was awesome.

I have to admit, I actually like some of Shoko Nakagawa's music and the DAN DAN cover is pretty good as well.

I think Zenkai Power was alright, and DAN DAN was really good. And her old Romantikku Ageru yo is just... incredible. She has a great voice.... although these days I do tend to think of her as Gizamimi Pichu.
