Well, other than Street Fighter just recently, none of these really fit the bill I'm looking at. Fan service stuff, you know, callbacks to previous games, characters, and obscure outfits. I don't think even in DoA4 can you play as brunette Tina from DoA1, nor (to my knowledge - I didn't spend a lot of time with it because the game bothered me) Tekken 6 has previous styles of Yoshimitsu from games prior.

Virtua Fighter 5 got quite the fun alternative costumes. KOF XIII will have as well, when it gets released for consoles...if it does. And that tier list is rubbish. There is not one character so worthless, that a skilled player can`t pick it up and win online or PCU fights.

The tier list is probably just made up upon some ingame stats. Don't try to connect it with the manga or the anime because that will just leave you confused and annoyed like myself in the beginning.

What's up with Battle of Omega not playing in that vid when he enters Raging Soul? Do the French just not get it? Or, since you can use your own music when playing the game, chose a different song to play when entering Raging Soul??? I guess I've just not heard that song before and I don't THINK it's an instrumental of BoO.

Played the demo for the first time last night. I must admit, this game looks much better in motion than I thought. Watching videos on YT is nothing like actually playing it. I also like the way it feels. The combat flow is much better than the previous game, in my opinion.

I really, really suck at this game, but I look forward to playing it. It looks pretty good.

I don't really want details...but, in your opinion, is the new version of the special better than the old one?
