Do you need to download anything before you can play the open beta tomorrow?

Well, you have to download the game of course. But besides that? Not that I'm aware of.

I have no idea what kind of internet you have, so maybe on your computer. lol But yeah, most likely. It took me about 2 hours to download the game, 10 minutes to install, and then another hour for the game to download up to the current patched version.

Just check Citrinate's post on the last page, or mine on the top of this one. Its basically the unofficial English website for DBO, and they'll have next to everything you are looking for either on the forum or the site itself: links, guides, tech support, etc.

Can't someone move to a "Dragon Ball Online Discussion" topic? There's been no news and I'm getting a tad fed up with the constant e-mails just to look at these discussions.

Edit: Thanks I guess.

Somehow I think I already know the answer, but, assuming it's still open for us to join and play at the moment, is it the least bit accessible to the visually impaired? As in, keyboard controls and halfway descriptive sound?
I expect not, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I suggest Granny Smith Appule as the official name for that alien in the top middle pic. I'm also intrigued by Mr. Popo the Dragon. Is it a reptilian Popo cosplayer? A racist stereotype dragon from Africa? Did Popo learn the Puff! spell?

So it looks like Miira's armor isn't unique to him.

So why do the evil Nameks wear Piccolo's kanji? Did Piccolo go back to being bad and train them?

No, Piccolo is still very much a good guy. Stories of the Daimao were probably told to the Namekians when they came to Earth and were then passed down through the generations. Once evil started taking hold of some of them, the new age Mazoku started wearing the symbol of the Daimao to honor him, or as a sign...perhaps their goal is to return the Daimao to the current age to lead them through the use of the Time Machine, or Miira/Towa.

Who knows, it hasn't been expanded upon yet.

I believe Piccolo actually gives you quests to fight the evil Namekians.

Yeah cool, so after long thinking, I tried to create my account. So for the less errors, I tried the walktrough. OK, aside it's in Chinese, standard register and OK's are on left as with Japanese.
Then I stuck on simple f**** registration! Damn, no verification e-mail came, so I checked the FAQ to be sure.... nothing about ot, now, when I have to activate my account, it goes to ''recovery page'' as if I did it wrong, which after 10 takes I did not or it takes me back on the list of Terms of use to click OK and register account again.

Well, this game is pissing me off since the last year when it was always, DBO DBO DBO DBO, game exists but you will never play it, everybody is jizzing off from the awesome storyline and gameplay, but nobody actually played it..... OK, I'll keep my money for the official US-EU release then.
This game is a lot more annoying than a teenager trying to emulate PS3 on Pentium 4 2,6 Ghz.
