Re: Dragon Ball Online Discussion
Wow, this could be the largest post I've ever seen! Awesome work HECTOR4! I'm in love with DBO's Earth now! Is this complete?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

So was he. We only have access to like half the world map right now, so of course this list isn't complete...though it doesn't actually include everything we do have access to anyway. lolDBZGTKOSDH wrote:Oop... I was refering in your Bestiary list.

Why should it be bad? Good for you that you know where they are, I guess?MewtwoZX wrote:Is it bad I know where 80% of all these NPCs that HECTOR4 posted appear?

Knowing the locations of random enemies/mobs without even looking at any map makes me a DBO Addict i guess XD?DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Why should it be bad? Good for you that you know where they are, I guess?MewtwoZX wrote:Is it bad I know where 80% of all these NPCs that HECTOR4 posted appear?
Re: Dragon Ball Online Discussion
*Shrugs* I don't see it as good or bad. It just means you have good localization skills. You know where an enemy will be. I have a friend who new each and every itinerary for every enemy for any layout of every map on Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. I think that's a little more than what you have, so don't worry :P
Re: Dragon Ball Online Discussion
Ehh, I think he was just making a joke to emphasise how much he knew and played the game lol. I have no idea how to get this game though, or whether it's allowed in my region...

To my knowledge, it doesn't matter where you live. I live in Greece and it works fine.DonieZ wrote:I have no idea how to get this game though, or whether it's allowed in my region...
As for where to download it, here: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5845
The English patch: http://dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7319
And for the account, here: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13629
It's the Taiwanese version, so you must have Chinese characters installed on your PC. Follow the guides closely, and you will manage to play the game!
