Those time quests thingies supposedly aren't part of the main story...they are part of a not yet implemented mode called DWC, or Dragon World Challenge, that is somehow played with character cards and is rumored to have ties with Uranai Baba. There are some guesses from looking through the games files that the DWC focuses on offical characters and not the player's interactions with them:
-Goku and Pteranodon
-Muten Roshi and Umigame
-Piccolo Daimao and his offspring
-Vegeta, Nappa, and Radditz become Oozaru

There are also cards for adult Goku, Piccolo, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaozu, Grandpa Gohan, Bulma, Saibaimen, Ginyu Tokusentai members, and a couple others.

Can these cards be seen anywhere? They sound interesting.

They aren't... lol Here are most of them, though I don't think the uploader has added in the Daimao Era cards (I haven't checked because I don't really care about them =P): http://www.mediafire.com/?lqilnp9y961l1e7

That is part of the previous "knockoff" Cell's texture files, so still not part of THE Cell, as I've already said...

edit: dbocom wasn't down, but it did this odd thing where I needed a CAPTCHA to see anything on the website. I wouldn't have trusted it on my Windows, but running Mac right now.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Yay! Did Toriyama finally tell them to rectify his English spelling of her name pun? I can hope this was one of his contributions to the game, right? =P

It's times like these I honestly wonder if someone important out there doesn't keep up with the podcast.

Man! I cannot wait to try this game! It better come out in the US!! Thanks to all the contributors here for sharing all the juicy screenshots and official artworks. Keep 'em coming!! I do, however, have a couple of questions, if those of you who have played DBO would oblige me:

1.) There sure is a lot of variety in the Namekian race; I see all these pictures of purple-skinned ones, ones with fins on their head, ones with horns instead of antennae, and the more common "new era" pale-faced Nameks. But, what I'm curious about is whether or not it is possible to create a Namek character that looks like a "classic" Namek. Can you do that?

2.) All the pictures of the Majin race seem to be exclusively of "Fat Buu" male characters and "Kid Buu" female characters. Is it possible to make a Majin that looks more like "Super Buu" and/or to make "Fat Buu" females and "Kid Buu" males?

3.) I've seen the pictures and videos that show that the Fighter Class Humans can wish on the Dragon Balls to become Super Saiya-jin. Can the Spiritualist and Engineer classes do this too, or is it exclusive to the Fighter Class? Are there other things to wish for besides becoming a Super Saiya-jin? Also, if a Namekian or a Majin collected the Dragon Balls, what could they wish for?

3b.) On the subject of Dragon Balls, how rare are they? Is there just one set in the whole world? How do you find them (Dragon Radar, quest reward, dumb luck, etc...)? If there is just one set, how do you deal with getting them all if multiple people have the different balls?

4.) Why is Karin blue in all the screenshots I've seen? Is it really him or could it be some similar-looking descendant? Also, if Karin still exists, does that mean there are Senzu?

My apologies for all the questions, but the concept of this game has just really made me so darn curious! Thanks in advance for any information you all can provide!
