I wonder what a fully-fledged crossover between Dragon Ball and Sin City would be like.

One thing is for certain, it has to be grim, dirty, sexy and have TONS of self-indulgent inner monologue.

I can imagine Piccolo being a Batman/Rorschach-esque character, only less mental.

Well, they're not from Sin City, and I haven't even read the graphic novel or watched the film adaptation, but you know what I mean.

I was bored so I did a few quick sketches of Goku and SSJ Goku in an alternative style.

I wanted to add more characters, but these were the only ones I liked.

Nice sketches! Your style reminds me of something, a cartoon or most likely an anime I've seen. I just can't seem put my finger on it.

Well, for me, the Super Saiyan one kinda looks like Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, so maybe I'm not the only one seeing the resemblance:

Nah, it looks much more Kubo-inspired. Spill a bunch of ink in the background and you'll see the similarities.

Yup, my current style is heavily influenced by Kubo and I think you can tell that the most with the second one. The first one, however, doesn't strike me as that similar to his drawing style, but I'm not sure myself what it resembles the most. Avatar?
I did a bunch of characters, each in 3 different styles, a while back and " my personal style" in those was far more cartoonish and a little bit closer to the original style. Goku in Bleach style looked also way different.

Speaking of Kubo and fanart, his DB anniversary tribute work is one of my favorite DB artworks ever

I wanted to try some other characters too, but I just wasn' t happy with how they turned out. I don't know, if anyone has any requests? Maybe I'll try those.

SSj3 Nappa and both others are SSj4 Gohan. (The magical disappearing shirt will never make since to me when it comes to SSj4)

Wah, I wasn't going for Kubo's style in particular, just some sketches I felt like doing.

Well anyway, here goes....

The second one isn't very alternative, probably because I had that one image with Cell smirking that Toriyama drew in my head the whole time. I love that one
